The house is beautiful and spacious. However, the cleaning company did not do a thorough job. I don’t feel the property manager did enough or handled the errors sufficiently. On the day we arrived, to my horror, I found loose medication tablets in my kids bedroom. Thank god I threw them out before my kids got to them, otherwise it could have been really bad. The house was also covered in dog hair - on the furniture and bedding. Both my kids and I are severely allergic and even with medication, we all struggled to sleep the first night due to breathing challenges. They do not allow pets, however the dog leashes throughout the house indicate that the owners have a dog. This should be disclosed to potential renters with allergies. Finally, the coffee maker was full of mold.
I brought these issues up with the property manager (who is also the owner of the cleaning company) and although she tried to rectify the situation, the individual’s tardiness was an issue. She was over two hours delayed to arrive at the property, after which we rescheduled to the following day. She offered to refund the cleaning fee, which was acceptable. But 3 weeks later, I have not been refunded. I have had to follow up with her multiple times to find out the status. I was going to write a better review had the owner or the property manager promptly corrected the error, because I understand mistakes happen. Today is the last day to submit my review, and unfortunately, have still not seen any refund.
