Culburra Beach is an easy 2.5 hr drive from Sydney, and yet you will feel as though you are a whole world away. It is a place to do as little or as much as you like. For those who enjoy the surf, across the road there is a track leading directly down to Culburras main surf beach, Warrain Beach. Fishing enthusiasts can fish off the rocks immediately in front of the property, or Lake Wollumboola (few minutes walk) where you can also enjoy water sports (equipment can be hired from the surf school) and prawning come sundown. Mermaids Hideout is located close to shops, cafes and Woolworths and only a few minutes drive to award winning restaurants and delicious seafood outlets and oyster farms at Greenwell Point.
