The Space:
This 2,153 sq ft | 200 sqm 3rd-floor oceanview condo is a superb choice for a family or friends getaway to stay in the heart of Playa del Carmen. The condo complex, called El Faro, is located just a block from the famous 5th Avenue. It’s a vacationer’s dream. You won’t need a car at all. You can walk to just about everything up and down 5th Avenue or you can soak in your private oceanview splash pool, or find that perfect sun lounger at the complex pool or private beach in front. There are plenty of amenities, a gym included, so you never have to miss a workout!
The main spaces of the condo:
- A luminous LIVING ROOM with a comfortable sofa (that also opens to a double pullout bed), and lots of natural sunlight. Plus, direct access your oceanview terrace!
- A PRIVATE UPPER-FLOOR OCEANVIEW WRAP AROUND TERRACE with a splash pool , sun loungers, and a table and chairs for enjoying the sun, the sun, the sunrise, the beach and ocean views any time.
- A DINING ROOM, just off the living area, with a dining table to comfortably seat 6 for relaxed sit-down meals at home. Plus a nearby BREAKFAST BAR with 3 bar stools for extra seating.
- A fully-equipped KITCHEN with quality appliances, and all the cookware and utensils you’d need to prepare and enjoy meals at home.
- 3 BEDROOMS and 3 FULL BATHROOMS (all ensuite and with spacious stand-in showers and rainfall shower heads!). Plus a HALF BATH for added convenience to accommodate 8 guests as such:

Playa’s famous 5th Avenue is just up the street from the condo building. You’ll find a Starbucks on the corner and everything you need is just a short walk to get to. Convenient stores, bars, restaurants, souvenir and boutique shops, outdoor malls, fruit stands, grocery shopping, pharmacies, tour operators, and more. There’s even a Walmart within walking distance!
There are also so many different things to see and do around Playa del Carmen -- everything from the beach and beach clubs, water sports like snorkeling, scuba, paddle boarding, and boating, eco-parks with underground rivers, ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes (natural sinkholes special to this area!), private boat/yacht and fishing tours, golfing, day trips to Tulum or Cancun, and so much more!

Getting Around:
There’s an assigned parking space on site in the lot. Luckily, however, the complex is centrally located; you won’t even need a car. You can easily rent a bike or take a taxi or ‘colectivo’ (shared-ride vans) where you need to go. The condo is about 49 km or 30 miles from the Cancun International Airport (CUN) –check your mobile map apps when you arrive as driving time varies depending on time of day – and the condo is located in the Residences El Faro complex downtown at 10th Street and the beach.

We provide a few bath essentials like toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner & body wash, but please note that these are not replenished during your stay. If you need more, you’ll need to purchase more.
There is no daily housekeeping but if you’d like the place cleaned, it can be arranged for an additional fee. Please message us at least 24 hours in advance and by 5 pm the day before the service.
Electricity is included for short-term stays (2-27 nights). Please help us save energy by using the AC wisely and keeping the temperature at 25°C. Electricity is not included for long-term rentals of 28 nights or more and will be charged as consumed based on a $6 MXN (pesos) fee per KW.
Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
Surveillance cameras are located in outdoor, in common areas and public spaces. The surveillance cameras are strictly for security reasons to ensure guests' safety. All cameras only face outdoor areas or corridors.
HOUSE RULES
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco or cannabis) is allowed at the property and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are not allowed on the premises.
- Pool and common area regulations and hours must be respected.
Interaction with Guests:
You can check-in at the main entrance where you’ll find the front desk registration area. Once you’ve checked-in, you’ll receive the apartment access key and bracelets to access the exclusive areas around the complex during your stay.
