Great place on the big lake!

This was our 6th year at this property and we have never been disappointed. Our family is large with a wide range of ages. The house is beautiful, wonderfully equipped and of course the lake is just a few steps away. We never have to leave the property. Everything we need is there. Our hosts are most accommodating and responsive. Many forever memories have been made here.

Good Hart

Our stay at Good Hart was fantastic. We had 3 generations and the accommodations were perfect. There were plenty of toys for all ages and we were able to enjoy our time together as well as exploring the area during the week. The kitchen was very well stocked and we enjoyed our meals together around the large dining table. Definitely a five star rating!

Family vacation

Beautiful, very clean, home that had spacious bedrooms/bathrooms for our family of 17. The view of Lake Michigan was stunning! Access to the beach was wonderful. We enjoyed using the kayaks and other beach toys and basically had the beach to ourselves. It was an easy day trip to Mackinac Island from this location. Our family would definitely come back to enjoy this home and area again. Thank you!

Fabulous home, wonderful views.

This is a fabulous home, beautiful beach and well stocked for cooking. Beautiful views. Plenty of toys for kids both inside and outside for play. Close enough to town, golf courses and hiking trails.

A relaxing vacation

My second stay here with my family (10 total) and it is by my far may favorite place to stay. Everything about the house is great; location, fully equipped kitchen for meals with a big group, plenty of comfortable room for everyone to have their own space, available toys for all ages, everything you need for a beach day and pretty much everything you need for a great vacation week. House is clean, well maintained and relaxing. Communication with the owner is easy with fast responses. I booked another week next summer before I left.

Wonderful week

We had an absolutely wonderful week. We expected a great place from the listing and pictures…..and our expectations were met and much more.3 generations Plenty of private space yet great gathering spaces—perfect layout for a big family. The paddle board, kayaks, hot tub and tons of games and puzzles were used and appreciated.the host was easily accessible for questions. . Extras in the kitchen and baths just felt so welcoming. Great Place for a Large group or family

Family Vacation

This property was absolutely perfect, and the views/sunsets were simply breathtaking! Most importantly, the house was spotless! We spent a large amount of time on the beach with our 6 adult children. There was plenty of sand to easily play games on the beach. There were also loads of beautiful rocks along the shore, if you are a rock hound. We found some beauties! We saw only a handful of people at the beach, over the entire week. It truly felt like we were the only ones there! Thank you for making this special vacation extra perfect! I highly recommend this beautiful vacation home!

Lake Michigan Together

This is our second time for renting this property - from 2 different owners. Prior to this house we rented 4 other houses on the lake - enjoyed them all, but this tops our list. And we’re hoping for a third! It’s great to be together - it’s comfortable, beautiful, relaxing, and fun. All was well!

Beautiful property!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. Its very private and the beach was perfect. They provided kayaks and life vests which we used almost every day. The home is very large and well laid out. There were only 5 of us there, but it would be perfect for multiple families. Our kids loved playing in the yard when they weren't at the beach. We were not able to get cell service at the house but the wifi worked great. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back again!

Beautiful!

We loved this house! The views are wonderful. The sunsets were amazing and although we did a few hikes and outings, we never really wanted to leave. The kayaks, lilly pad, and paddle board were great to have and the hot tub was a big plus! The kitchen had everything you could possibly want as well as outdoor and indoor games. The beds were all real comfortable with good linens. Thanks much! We loved it.

Family Togetherness

Our family has rented a lake house a week during the summer for the past 14 years - my purpose was to get us all under the same roof, living in comfort, for more than a week-end. We come from Michigan, North Dakota, California, and Arkansas (added more recently) so we do not get together without making plans ahead of time! We have stayed in 4 big houses on Lake Michigan and 1 on Lake Charlevoix. All were good experiences; this was our 5th stay at this house and we felt like we were really at home,! Enough bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen with everything we needed, Lake Michigan and the surf so close, the deck, games, lake toys, Petoskey and Harbor Springs shopping, a day trip to Mackinaw Island - it all worked well for us - memories galore.

This lake is really great!

The house is on a beautiful stretch of beach with gorgeous views from the bedrooms as well as from the deck. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The screened in porch was a great spot for morning coffee. The area is beautiful and close to some wonderful spots to explore. The house has been well cared for and is well stocked with everything you need to get started. We all look to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. The games and toys are in good condition and there are plenty of them to keep the whole family busy and happy. We especially enjoyed the lawn games, the lily pad and the kayaks. We enjoyed having the toy room for the kids as well as the spin bike and weights for the adults. The hot tub was enjoyed every day as well as the fire pit and grill. The owner was always available to answer questions. The owner’s manual was incredibly helpful and answered most of our questions. This was our favorite vacation rental home by far and it was so much fun exploring a new area. An added bonus was escaping the Georgia heat.

Absolutely stunning

The views are stunning, decor impeccable and it’s the best stocked house we’ve ever rented. It has all of the kitchen gadgets and spices (you could definitely do a big family holiday meal here). I always travel with my kids’ favorite toys but that was not necessary here. The playroom is filled with toys from babies to elementary age kids, including pop-a-shot and American Girl dolls + accessories. There’s also at least 30 board games (maybe more!). They have plenty of beach/outdoor chairs so you don’t need to bring any. They also have kayaks, stand up paddleboards, canoe, ladder golf. The photos in the listing are nice but the actual views are breathtaking. The stone steps to the beach and landscaping are gorgeous. The sand is soft. It’s so peaceful and remote - we only saw 2 other people wayyy down the beach the entire week. Since it’s remote, it’s hard to grocery shop though. There’s an IGA 20 minutes away and Meijer 40 minutes. I’d recommend placing Meijer curbside pick up orders so you can grab it on your way in, but limit your orders to less than $200. (No one would pick our $800 order and didn’t warn us so we had to scramble). It’s far enough north that a Mackinac Island day trip is easy to do (beware that we had a crazy long ferry wait though). I would definitely recommend this home!! You will have a great time.

Beautiful Home near Harbor Springs

Jill’s home was the perfect spot for our large family with lots of kids. Plenty of space and property was in very good condition. It is right on the lake with access to kayaks to take on the water. The home is a short drive to some great restaraunts (Pond Hill Farm, Legs Inn) and not too far from Harbor Springs. I would highly recommend this place.

Magical week in Good Hart

Our far-flung family loved our week at this beautiful property, enjoying sunset dinners, walking the beach and playing in the water. We found a well stocked kitchen with every gadget you can imagine and cupboards stocked with spices and cooking oils. The living space and bedrooms were comfortable and fresh. There’s a lovely stone stairway with lighting down to the beach for evening stargazing and plenty of beach chairs and water toys. Truly a magical spot and the host was very responsive to all our questions.

Our family has been vacationing in the Harbor Springs area for over 20 years and we finally decided to pull the trigger and purchase our long awaited vacation home. We love it here and wanted to share the experience with others. Hiking, biking, sailing, swimming, gaming, skiing, sledding, dining and socializing are a plenty here. Come enjoy our little slice of heaven in heavenly Good Hart. While the property is quite luxurious, it also allows to be used and enjoyed to it's fullest for the young and old.

Adventures abound right on site. 5 acres to hike, explore and adventure. 200' of what feels like a private beach. Lake views from almost every room in the house. The house is beautiful with amazing amenities, but also allows to be fully lived in and enjoyed.
