This villa is one of the best villas located on the majestic beach of San Juan del Sur. Dive into the pool and enjoy the best atmosphere. Casa CarMar has 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. A bar room, fully equipped kitchen, living room and a spacious ranch next to the pool area, which could not be better. There are several chairs to enjoy the beach breeze. Great for a family trip, the location cannot be better, it is just a few minutes from the best beaches and the city of San Juan del Sur.

Disappointing
We were very excited to stay in this house with friends, but there were quite a few problems that really affected our trip. When we arrived, I was rushed through a tour of the bedrooms and bathrooms, but given no other information. There was a broken pipe in the yard, and the path to our casita was flooded, the pool was so murky you couldn’t see the bottom, and we felt put out by asking about these problems. The first morning when we all showered, we found out that there was no hot water on the property, and when I contacted the manager he only said that I had never asked if there was hot water - that may be common in San Juan del Sur, but the VRBO listing absolutely should have mentioned it. Additionally, a few times a day, the house manager would turn off the water pump, and there was no water at all. It took us a few times to figure out that we had to track her down and ask for water to be turned on - this also was never communicated to us. We had planned on doing a lot of cooking at the house, but with no water, we ended up eating most of our meals out. I contacted the manager multiple times on our first full day about moving to a different place, but he never responded. The other issue with the house is the location, it is on the other side of the river from town. You can walk along the beach to cross the river, but depending on tides, it may be shin deep or waist deep. Otherwise it is a 2.5 mile walk or taxi into town by road.

We have multiple problemas
This property really needs a lot of maintenance. Starting with the kitchen, change the utensils, all deteriorated cabinets, the refrigerator with mold , needs deep cleaning itself. And too many flies. I do not recommend this property for vacationing. Another thing they charge you for electricity you can only spend a certain amount and if and if go over the amount they charge you 0.50 cents for each KLW spent. I have rented properties in different countries and they have never charged for electricity and when you make the lease, they don't put it anywhere.

The family has taken time and care to create a villa that is designed to enjoy a proper beach vacation. There can be few properties available on VRBO where groups of 16 guests can stay and enjoy top quality amenities and decore. The fresh air on the hill side makes it extremely pleasant. The town and beach is a 10 minute car ride away. At the town, El Pueblo you will discover artisan shops to take home mementos of your time in Nicaragua, plus bars, restaurants and more beach facilities for your group to enjoy. If you’re heading to El Pueblo after dark, take the car!

Your hosts are confident you will fall in love with their villa as much as they have, especially when you see the views of the ocean and mountains you get. It’s an impressive two story home with plenty of space inside and outside for you to gather as a big group or smaller groups, or find a quiet corner for yourself.

Make no mistake, your hosts take the safety and security of each and every guest very seriously. You will also have a Housekeeper with you for check in and check out. They will also be there for any questions.

There’s also plenty of parking space for cars in the villa’s secure private parking area, so if you’re hiring a car you’ll have no trouble finding somewhere safe to leave it while you relax with friends or family.
