The guest house is located in a quiet and dark neighborhood with spacious 2 acre properties in the lovely Fort Valley corridor of Flagstaff, minutes to downtown, AZ Snowbowl and surrounded by National Forest and prime mountain bike trails. Right on the way to the Grand Canyon. A Mt. Elden delight!

Beautiful place/setting

Gorgeous modern guest house set deep in the pines, yet it was just minutes to NAU, I-17, etc. You can walk to the trails or just relax on an amazing deck. Super quiet/peaceful neighborhood. Hosts were great and property seemed even better than advertised.

AWESOME

Home was beautiful. Everything we needed. Most important to us is cleanliness and the home was immaculate! Location was incredible. Best of all Wayne, the host was great, very gracious. Whenever he saw us he'd ask if everything was ok, is there anything he could do to make our stay better. Our overall stay was not just a 10 out of 10, it was a 100 out of 100!!!! We look forward to staying there again! Thank you Wayne!

Pines Getaway

Excellent property! Husband and I stayed one month in July. Very clean, fun decor, right in the pines but close to town. Owners very helpful. Relaxed mornings on deck and then sightseeing. Lots to do in area with great backroads to explore.

Gorgeous Property and Comfortable Space

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this guest house. Everything was clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed being able to walk to nearby trails and enjoy the beautiful views. This property helps you feel secluded and private, but is also just a short drive away from downtown Flagstaff. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, responsive when we had a question, otherwise respected our privacy. If we decided to return to this area, we will look to book this location again.

Perfect stay for 2 persons

We had a great stay at Mckenzye's house. It is located nicely in the woods, a short distance (15 minutes) from Old Town Flagstaff. Everything was clean and nice and the interior is modern and tasteful. Special mentioning goes to the huge TV and hifi set that you can stream to via the well functioning wifi.

Peaceful Pines Retreat

Great property for a couple who want a quiet getaway Flagstaff location. New, clean, well-designed guest house. New amenities. Wayne and Mckenzye were great hosts, very responsive, helpful, and friendly. One of the best VRBO properties we've rented in the past ten years! We would happily stay here again!

Serenity among the pines

Perfect, quiet location close to town, hikes, & an easy drive to Grand Canyon. This above garage apt. is modern, well equipped, comfortable & clean with a great outdoor porch. There's no oven (but a great pizza joint just down the hwy). The owners were very nice & accommodating. We would definitely stay again & recommend to friends.

Out of the city, under the stars

We had a great time, wish we had one more night! The stars were beautiful and the space was just right. Our stay was at the end of a week-long trip so it was very relaxing being away from the hustle/bustle. We had a nice hiking experience not far from the house.Wayne and Mckenzye were not far away if we needed anything.

Perfect place to stay!

Our time in Flagstaff was so enjoyable because we had this rental to come home to and relax at night. The pictures don’t do justice to how wonderfully decorated and comfortable this place is! The neighborhood is beautiful with huge pine trees. The hosts are very gracious and available if you need anything at all. The way the guest house is oriented, you have total privacy. We truly appreciated how clean the place was and how comfortable the bed and couch were. Perfect place for a couple to stay. We would stay here again if we return to beautiful Flagstaff!

Clean and Quiet

If you want a calm, private, airy, bright, cozy, and welcoming space to experience Flagstaff with your spouse, this is it! The house was filled with nice details such as board games, information pamphlets, a vinyl player with a variety of music to choose from, a very spacious bed, and a modest kitchen. There was no question of how to access the house or where to park. Don't hesitate to book this place!

Above and Beyond

This Guest House was perfect for us, it has everything needed for comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could think of for our 8 day stay. Plenty of linens, towels etc... Comfortable king bed for a great night sleep. Plenty of hot water for a good soak after hiking,cross country skiing ,snowshoeing right at the end of the road. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck overlooking the forest. We received over 2 feet of snow in 24 hours, driveway and roadway was cleared and ready for travel (terrific job!). The Hosts are Amazing!!Thank You for a Wonderful Stay!!

Hiking and Mountain Biking Mecca

I can not speak highly enough about this VRBO. The hosts were incredible. Wayne knows the area well and was able to give me some great suggestions on where to mountain bike. He also provided a bike rack, hose and a place to store my bike, how great is that? The is a place you can park your car and hardly ever need to drive. It is very close to Mt. Eldon Lookout Road, all of the Schultz Pass trails and only a very short drive to Snowbowl. If you walk out of the home a few hundred yards you are in a vast array of hiking trails and it feels very remote. The appliances were new and everything worked perfectly. The place has a big, comfy couch and a great big screen TV. The patio was nice to experience the cool mornings eating breakfast and smelling the pines. The bed is a personal thing, but it treated me well. I have stayed at dozens of VRBOs in my lifetime and this experience was the best. The hosts, the location and the facility itself were top notch. If you are a hiker or mountain biker, this is the best spot in Flagstaff.

Absolutely the best vacation rental experience we've ever had!

We’ve been staying in vacation rentals for just shy of 10 years now, but the past week we spent at this property was hands-down the best vacation rental we’ve ever had. Period. The location is unusual for Flagstaff as it’s one of our favorite areas but one where vacation rentals are scarce. The properties in the area are expansive, the homes large, and are nestled in the surrounding forest at the foot of Mt. Elden. Our plan was to spend a week relaxing and riding our ebikes all around the area. The location offered terrific access to the local trails and, while it was only minutes from downtown, felt like you were miles away from anywhere. The guest house was well-appointed, beautifully decorated and perfect for a couple. The guest house is over a 3 car garage so the view of the surround area is excellent. Access is up winding concrete stairs so if mobility is an issue, you might want to take a look at the photos before you book. The host family lives further up the stairs in their house. Speaking of the hosts, Wayne and Mckenzye were fantastic! They were so accommodating. Before booking, we had asked about space for our ebikes and were assured that there would be room. We found out that “room” meant an entire garage bay with power for our chargers! Bonus!! The family dog Winnie and cat Jax were frequent visitors as we sat on the patio and they watched the sunsets with us. This was absolutely a magnificent location, and we will most definitely be back!
