Our rustic villa is nestled on a lush volcano ridgeline in the Rabot Estate with views of the Caribbean sea and the iconic Petit Piton Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The entire property has been recently refreshed and a brand new 37' saltwater infinity pool will be completed June 2024. Breakfast is included.
The main villa offers two bedrooms with 4 poster queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms; living room and kitchen. All rooms have vaulted ceilings and open onto an expansive 1,300 sft terra cotta terrace with stunning views of the piton and sea. A small loft bedroom with 4 poster queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom is perched atop a flight of stairs (this bedroom can be made available for additional fee, please inquire).
Made with local volcanic stone and greenheart teak wood, the villa is situated on a secluded private acre flourishing with coconut trees, palm trees, abundant fruit trees, and organic vegetable gardens. Our tropical estate enjoys a constant breeze blowing directly from the rainforest. The new 37 foot salt water infinity pool also offers wonderful view of the Petit Piton.
A secluded bedroom with its own en suite bathroom is in a separate cottage around 100 feet from the main house. This bedroom has a covered porch with seating and piton view. It is near the pool. No wifi currently in cottage 2, we suggest using your phone as a hotspot.
In walking distance down the mountain you will find the renowned Hotel Chocolate and the Ladera Resort. World class Jade Mountain, Anse Chastenet, and Sugar Beach resorts, are all 20 minute drive away. These famous resorts offer access to beautiful beaches and the finest dining in St Lucia.
All beaches are public in St. Lucia and there are many nearby to swim, snorkel and sunbathe. Favorites are: Paradise Beach, at the bottom of the Petit Piton, a ten minute drive. A short distance further, is spectacular Sugar Beach, the only beach between the Pitons. The beautiful black sand beaches of Anse Chastenet and Anse Mamin are 20 min drive. The best scuba diving on the island is also found here.
We are close to St Lucia’s most popular attractions. A three minute drive will take you to the world’s only drive-in volcano, medicinal sulfur and mud baths. A few minutes away are numerous hiking trails, waterfalls, rainforest excursions, zip lining, botanical garden, mineral baths, rum and chocolate tasting.
The modest port town of Soufriere is just 4 kms away where sailing, boat tours, sunset cruises can be easily arranged. There are supermarkets, local bakeries, Farmer Market every morning until 12, drugstores. Enjoy Soufriere’s range of dining options, from international cuisine to local food in the snackettes (snack bars).
Our dedicated staff will take good care of you. House manager Glenda, will serve breakfast every morning, provide guidance and assist with arrangements. Pinel takes care of housekeeping duties, while Miguel, our organic gardener, oversees the grounds and tends to the swimming pool.
To witness the stunning beauty of St. Lucia, renting a car is recommended. Driving is on the left side of the road, consistent with UK driving rules. Note that the roads are narrow and winding. We can assist you in advance with airport transfers, car rental or private transportation for the duration of your stay.
