Great beach vacation

The room

It was okay, but not all the cleanest. Had to call maintenance the first day some things needed fixed and the back door screen was completely off. The beds were not the best and had dips all in them. Bathroom shower/tub was completely stoppped up and wouldn’t drain, but we had to unstop it. Definitely not an updated condo. Washing machine don’t like a big load at all. Which was fine. Dishwasher is not screwed into cabinet/wall.Doors will lock before check out at 10am, guessing the lock number changes at 9am. Which is not good when going in and out packing up.

Pretty good

The condo was just as described. It was in a great location and very clean. However, they didn’t mention that the power was going to be out one of the days we were staying due to maintenance. A heads up would have been nice considering we had a lot of groceries in the fridge. Overall, it was a good stay and I would book at this condo again!

Room was not at all up to par for$

The walls needed painted, all cabinets were very worn. Furniture was scratched up, washing machine was very old and did not work correctly. All furnishings were very inadequate for what you charged. 3 very small tv’s . Flushing of toilets were not adequate. Even had a plunger next to the toilets. I don’t know if other rooms are this bad but room 707 was awful! And I have photos. It was bad

Disappointed in cleanliness upon arrival.

The condo appeared very dirty once we arrived. There were soaking wet wash cloths waded up under the sink in the master bathroom, a pair of women’s underwear left in the closet, a cigarette butt left on the master bedroom floor, and sand all over the kitchen and living room floor. The dryer was so packed full of lint that it wouldn’t dry clothes properly. The washing machine was full of wet towels and sheets when we arrived. The turntable dish was missing from the microwave. Our stay was great, but the condo was just very dirty when we arrived and it appears to need a little TLC.

Don’t book it.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was broken down and in need of lots of repair. From the furniture being broken down to the blinds missing, and the sliding door having a gap in it so it never closed all the way. We reported the issues upon arrival and hey were never addressed. We will never use Book that Condo again.

Miserable

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Most I have ever paid for a stay at the Beach and the worst quality Condo. Mildew and mold around A/C outlet, dirty dishes in kitchen cabinets, weather stripping flapping from sliding doors, sliding doors very noisy and worn out, no stand to place your bags on, ice maker useless, power went off for four hours one night,(No generators?), waked by fire alarm one morning and told to evacuate building. After an hour sweating in the sun, was told it was false alarm and we could return to building but the elevators were out of service. Gate guard (Bill) should not be dealing with public, a complete jerk. Sheetrock patched in places and left unpainted, lock hardware missing from bathroom door. Not luxurious by any stretch.

Nothing to write home about...

To start, I want to stress that the view and location overall are amazing. The guards at the entrance, also fantastic. This property was NOT what I was expecting. From the online pictures and the price, I figured I was getting a fairly nice property. The doors all need replaced. The locks are horrendous and most dont work. The couch is absolutely disgusting and stained. The kitchen is severly lacking in having the needed utensils. We had to run the dishwasher multiple times because there just wasnt enough dishes for one day. Also, oven mitts?! I was halfway into using the oven before I realized there were no oven mitts. The sliding door blinds constantly fell and there was not a light in the master bedroom which was aggravating. I had to wash the dishes before i could use them because when we pulled them out of the cabinets, there was stuck on food Basically the entire condo needs a severe updating. We also had issues with the tvs. When we got there they were BLARING. They would not turn off or down so we had to unplug them to make it stop. After that they wouldnt come back on or reconnect. I reached out to maintenence to fix the issue. A full 24 hours later it was finally addressed (the maintenance person was very polite). I understand they were busy, but a little heads up would have been nice as I was in the shower when he arrived. The only good point? The sheets were clean. All in all, while we had a good time. I will not be booking this place again.

Check in was over an hour late. There were a few broken things (bedroom door/bathroom cabinet). The condo itself was as pictured and nothing more. It got the job done.

Nice location loved the pool area and beach access. But the room needs some updates and repairs. Maybe some fresh paint too. Overall stay was good.

Needs major updates

This property needs some major upgrades from the owner. Other than a half-A coat of paint it doesn’t look like it’s been updated since built 30 years ago. The kitchen cabinet doors were sagging snd 1/2 falling off, one drawer completely fell out when opening, the bathrooms had a cheap coat of paint splashed on them (looks like someone did it in about 30 minutes), the furniture was old and filthy (property management rep said owner was suppose to replace couch but never did), the bed headboard was falling apart, the mattresses had huge sags in them and we had to fix one bed on check in as leg was falling off. The bathroom sinks and drains wouldn’t drain and fan bath was so loud it sounded like it was going to explode. We paid almost 3K for a week and expected much better. The owner def needs to put some money into this place. Book that Condo was responsive to our issues and apologized but didn’t offer any financial assistance for charging so much for this place in the condition it is in.

Good Family vacation

The property out side surroundings were superb, the unit it self is dated and needs remodeling. The kitchen cabinet doors are deteriorating and hinges are broken. The interior doors to the bathrooms and bed rooms are de laminating and binding to open and close. The kitchen cookware needs a few additions to make cooking easier. Overall every stay at this property has been enjoyable, all the other units I have stayed in have been up to date. This unit served us well, but it is time for a little TLC for 707.

The calypso is the perfect tourist location!

This company is super easy to work with and nice, we were supposed to stay at a different condo but it wasn't ready due to hurricane Michael from October 2018, so we were upgraded to the calypso for free and it was amazing resort with 2 large pools nice bar and jet ski rentals and parasailing! It's located right next to the russlefields pier (longest pier in panama) and pier park short 3 minute walk. And walmartt is a short 3-4 minite drive The a.c. is in excellent working condition. This was a new listing they just got to rent out so it could use a new coat of paint or some touch ups wich I'm sure they will do in the near future but can't hold that aginst them as they upgraded us so we still had a place to stay . All in all this was a the ideal vacation and good comapany to work with. Plan on booking with them again next year! Thanks for a great vacation ❤

Great stay in PCB

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place, quiet, safe, right on the beach.The condo was average, I say that mainly because it needed updated. The furniture looked new and the bed stepped well but the place needed a total remodel. The stove eye wouldn't shut off one day and needs a new switch or something, we finally got it turned off. There was no wine bottle opener so I had to borrow one. The door to the balcony needs to be replaced badly and there are like 20 remote controls in one basket which gets a little confusing. But overall we still had a good stay. The place was clean and in a good location. "Book that Condo" has superb customer service also.

Great Summer Vacation Setting

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The space was adequate for the amount of people, things were clean and ready when we arrived, the beach was out our back door and the pool and hot tubs were well maintained. We had a great time and didn't have any issues leading up to, during or after our stay.

Great Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Commodore 707 for almost a week and had a great experience! The condo was clean, we stayed cool and had plenty of room for all of our guests. The master bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The kitchen was stocked well with everything you'd need to cook dinner. We loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. The balcony was amazing...great views and such a nice breeze. My suggestions would be to replace the couch, as it sinks way down when you sit on it and you're basically sitting on the frame. Also, the sliding door in the living room needs new weather stripping. We were there during Tropical storm Alberto and had quite a wind symphony coming through the crack. Honestly, we would definitely stay again! Hopefully not during a tropical storm. :)

Ok By the Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great... however several items needed to be repaired including:Mesh from loveseat is hanging to the floor, railing on outside patio is loose, master bathroom lock cover is missing, wall outlet for power plug is loose on ceramic tile, and all blinds needed replacing... but the biggest problem was not accommodating guests with an appropriate number of towels readily available. We consistently asked for the total number towels to match how many guests were in the condo, Nevertheless we never had enough towels the entire stay and never got towels replenished throughout the entire stay.... washer and dryer were readily available, but it still did not make up for lack of washcloths and towels. This DEFINITELY needs to be improved for future guests.
