About this property

Beautiful 3800 square foot home with tons of sleeping for those large family gatherings. Swimming right off the dock on quiet Dake Lake. Take a pontoon and travel the many connected lakes for skiing or supper at your choice of many restaurants located right on the chain.

House is fully furnished with 14 person dining table, 2 large bedrooms are like two in one. King bed for mom and dad and a bonus room on the other side of the curtain you can sleep 5 more - we call these family style rooms. Let me try to walk you through these rooms, entering the room you will have a set of triple bunks and a full size bed and on the other side of the curtain features a King bed. We have two of these huge amazing rooms they can sleep 7 people each room. WOW, 3rd bedroom also on the second level has a queen bed with beautiful lake views. The 4th bedroom is located on the first floor with a king bed. 5th bedroom is also located on the first level featuring a King size bed. Cozy sitting room with Gas Fireplace and 2 hide away couches for extra sleeping (queen size), chess table, card table and tons of games along with a Pac Man small game counsel and a Large variety over 300 Arcade Game.

1 Canoe, 4 Kayak's, 15ft rubber Swim mat just to name of few of the water toys, large Pontoon also included with 7 day rental.

Family reunion, fun, memories start here. Our great Room is huge with lots of seating with comfy recliners or oversized leather chairs for 2. We rent from Sunday to Sunday only during June, July & August.

Another great week on dake lake!

We had 22ish People from twin 15 mo olds to grandma and grandpa… this place is awesome for our group because there’s so much room, inside and out.. a group can be sitting around the fire pit, while others are playing games, and others are at the water. Lisa loads the place with various games and activities. There truly is something for everyone ! (I’m a 40 year 4th gen waupaca vacationer)

Family Connection Time

The house was more than we expected! It smelled so fresh and was so welcoming as we entered. The hosts have provided so many conveniences from toys and games to a wide variety of cooking accessories. The two refrigerators in the kitchen helped so much with our large family. We were able to separate out food for those with special dietary needs. Video games and TV set ups were great to chill out for the very early risers and for those who are night owls. Three bathrooms and two washers and dryers helped us to be fresh and lovely.. There were wonderful yard toys, water toys, and games for all ages. The lily pad was used by everyone! The dishes, cookware, silverware, grill, and cooking utensils made food preparation fun for all of us. There are so many things to do in the surrounding areas - disc golf, mountain biking, hiking, the Red Mill, or quiet walks in the neighborhood. The age range for our group was 3 years old to 73 years old. The house has plenty of room for the whole group to gather as well as quiet areas for those times when you just need to have a little break from the fun. WE HAD A BLAST1

This property is privately owned and with families in mind. We have 5 kids that are growing with families of their own. So family gatherings is what we have in mind, amazing swimming, boat rides, large fire pit and outside seating for campfires for making memories.

Why they chose this property

This home has a ton of history, the original home on Dake lake even has a mystery novel written about it. Obviously it has had multiple additions and improvements over the years many of those happen just this spring. It has beautiful water frontage and great neighbors that know the water well if you want to go skiing head over to Long Lake or maybe you just want to drop a line in the water your in the right place.

What makes this property unique

2 of the bedrooms are what we call family rooms, they are unique and can sleep up to 7 people per room, A king bed is in kind of a room of it's own but just on the other side of the curtain is the 3 bunks and full bed. So between these two rooms 14 people can sleep. WOW these rooms are Red bedding or Blue bedding you will notice in the pictures. It has two living rooms and a table that seats 16 people, 3 fireplaces, 3 Kayak's, a 15ft rubber mat that attached to the dock for swimming fun, 1 canoe and 2 small john boats (no motors), A 24ft pontoon boat is available upon request, this is our personal pontoon and if it’s available it’s yours to use at no extra charge. We only offer this with a minimum 7 day stay.
