Highly recommend!
This is our fourth year in a row to stay at homes owned by these hosts. They are awesome! We always bring our kids and grandkids, and it’s so fun to all stay under one roof. The house is always clean, beautifully furnished, and is an easy walk to the beach, or a very short drive. Can’t wait for next year!

Beautiful
This home is exactly as advertised. There was plenty of room for our group of 10 to gather comfortably and enjoy our time together. We loved the convenient location and could not have asked for a more beautiful place to stay.

We're a family of five based in Austin-- Dad an administrative lawyer and business owner, Mom an advanced practice nurse, Kid 1 in college, Kid 2 in middle school, Kid 3 in 5th grade. We love to travel and try new things. Mom grew up visiting Galveston with her grandma; Dad's mom's family is originally from the island going back to before The Storm.

Why they chose this property

One of nicest houses on one of the loveliest streets in Galveston's Historic East End. A 1900 Storm Survivor, taken down to the studs and lovingly restored in the 2000s, with new plumbing and wiring. Featured on the Galveston Historic Homes Tour. Perfectly located: a scenic walk to the action at the Strand, the art district, and the rest of downtown; UTMB; the hospitals; the seawall (.5 miles).

What makes this property unique

This house has been set up as our second home, with everything we could want when visiting -- so it should have everything you could want too. Nice cookware, dinnerware, flatware, sheets, mattresses. We love staying here. We think you will too.
