Nothing could be finer than enjoying a quality vacation at Geechee Girl on Edisto Beach. This cheery home is nestled under beautiful live oaks and palmetto trees providing a wonderful site to create new memories and continue vacation traditions alike. Spend hours relaxing on the spacious screened porch or take advantage of the ground-level patio which is a great place to chill and grill with plenty of covered parking for the boat. Tasteful decorations extend throughout and will have you enjoying your time indoors just as much as the outdoors. The combination kitchen/dining/living area will have your group sharing laughter about your day at the beach while the chef in your group prepares a Lowcountry feast. Lots of conveniences are at your fingertips including cable, wireless internet, and a short bike ride to the shops and restaurants located on Jungle Road. Of course, you visit Edisto to hang out on the beach. From house to shore is only a short two-minute walk. Take a break from the daily grind, come on down, and get on island time.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great house!

We really thought the house was perfect for our needs. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. We are short people and found the furniture in the living room uncomfortable, but that’s our only complaint. Would rent again.

Perfect Vacation

Upon entering I noticed how clean the house was. Upon further inspection it had everything we needed for our week stay. Kitchen was nicely stocked with everything to cook with. Nice shower area underneath to wash the beach away and store your things. Charcoal grill and screened in porch. It stayed cool indoors. Just a short, straight walk to beach access #8. My husband particularly enjoyed watching the deer come out in the back every evening. Definitely is on our list of places to stay again.

Great location

Great location, outdated appliances but cute beachy decor. I would be careful when sitting on the bench at the dining room table. The bench is not wide enough at the legs/base and flipped over when my 3 year old tried to sit on it. The bench weighs approximately 20 lbs so we thought it broke his foot. Spent a few hours at MUSC Children’s hospital which is not how we wanted to spend part of our vacation. To be fair I have not contacted the owner regarding our concern with the bench so I am not sure if they have had any other issues with it. Overall I will say it was a good experience with the rental.
