Disappointed

Check in was to be at 4. We did not get code to door til 5.30. Delayed due to cleaning. This is 1 of 2 houses on a lot with the same address. We constantly had people knocking on our door, looking to party, thinking it was the 2nd house - all night. The king bed has a broken boxspring causing the center of the mattress to sag 6-8 inches. There is mimimal kitchenware and No glassware. There was 4 extra large mugs and bowls, plates. No glasses. Parking was an issue. Was told we could park in street or church parking lot. Street parking was always full so we parked in church lot. Was greeted by police the next morning. NOT allowed to use church parking lot.

Perfect for our Needs

We stayed here during a family holiday gathering as we have family in Chapel Hill. The house has everything we need. Emmanuel was responsive and welcoming. And the location worked out well for us. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Nice property in a not so nice neighborhood

The bungalow was quaint and clean. The bedrooms really need some sort of room darkening curtains. The street lights made it extremely difficult to sleep. The bungalow is situated right on top of another property. When you pull up into the driveway, you are staring into the house's front door. There were often people hanging out in the church parking lot across the street. On the last night of our stay around midnight, I heard voices outside my window and then someone started banging on the side door of the property. My friend and I (both female) were frightened so I called the police. They came for a look around and told us they would patrol throughout the night, A while later, I heard the voices again and saw 10-12 males coming out from a house across the street walking away. We let the owner know in the morning, but we never heard back from him, which was very disappointing. We suggested adding a couple of security chains to the doors for added security. While we are aware that this is not in the property owner's control, we did feel the need to make others aware.

Great place to stay

Love this little bungalow! It was the perfect retreat for our party of 4. Property manager was quick to answer any messages. We'd stay there again for sure.
