Linda's place was great!
This little house was exactly as described! Our dogs loved the fenced yard...the house was well stocked and very clean. My husband and I are already planning when we can come again! Linda was an amazing host and very flexible and responsive! Thank you!!!

Definitely disappointing
From the minute we spotted the property, we were disappointed. It was located right on the corner road side of the property, car noise. It looked dilapidated, out-buildings especially. It’s an old house, so we expected some issues. HOWEVER. I am short (5') and have bad knees. The steps onto the "breezeway" were so high I barely got up, even with a cane, walls to grab onto, and assistance from my family. It was even worse TRYING to get into the house itself. I simply couldn’t. Since the bathroom (very tiny) was in the house, I wouldn’t be able to use it. So I thought my husband & I could sleep in the "cabin". NO WAY!!! It was overwhelmingly musty, and having asthma, not possible for me. I’m not the only one that had access issues. My brother-in-law had a bad time getting up too. He has a bad hip, making the entry stairs painful for him. The rest of the property was okay, nice sitting area under the trees. But all in all, nothing like we expected from the description. We all felt it was misrepresented, or at least missing a few pertinent details (like the stairs). All in all, way too tiny for more than two people. It should listed "possible access issues". We never spent our allotted time there; we are in the process of trying to get at least 50% of our money back.

I am a wife to an amazing husband and mother of 2 wonderful children. Traveling is a passion of mine and when we found the Log Cabin, I knew it was a special find that I could share with others.

Why they chose this property

When we were downsizing after our children left the nest, we found the beautiful gem that we fell in love with immediately. We lived here for 5 years, farming the land (first time farmers), and really got connected with the place. When we moved, I couldn't imagine giving it up, so we decided to turn it into a rental because we thought others would enjoy it as much as we did.

What makes this property unique

When you stay here you get a unique opportunity to experience the past with the benefits of modern amenities. The cabin and cottage are filled with fairy lights on the ceilings, giving the place a magical glow. It's located on beautiful 5 acres with large trees and spacious grasslands to run and play.
