Potential

The property was clean overall, situated on top of a hill with beautiful mountain views. The updated kitchen made it easy for us to spend most of our time around the spacious island enjoying family. There seems to be an ant issue in the kitchen that an exterminator can help remedy. (Possibly due to all the rain we had) The rooms are spacious and clean but the beds are uncomfortable. There is also a lack of furniture in the bedrooms to store your belongings in during your stay. Lastly, there is not enough seating in the main living room for large parties. The deck has nice seating, grill, lighting, and a fire pit; sadly, it rained most of our stay so we didn't get a chance to enjoy it. The backyard patio scenery is picturesque and would stay here again.

Delightful Stay

This roomy, beautifully decorated home was so comfortable for all our family to return to after daily NY activities. The location was conveniently located and the mountain surroundings were lovely! Our host was very accommodating!

Broken dishwasher and not well maintained

We realised on the first evening that the dishwasher was broken. For 10 people this is quite an issue. We contacted the owner who was first responsive, but send over a guy who had no idea what to do. So nothing was fixed in the end and no partial refund. The hotpot was not covered and not usable. The polsters for the garden were outside even in winter with snow. No wood in the house (the one the owner brought over, was wet and not usable). In general the appartment lacks atmosphere and the kitchen is very poorly equipped. Bring everything you need, to be able to cook. Overall rather disappointing stay.

Thanksgiving with family

The property is as advertised. Communication with the owner, Sam is quick and straightforward. We celebrated Thanksgiving there with family visiting our daughter at West Point. The kitchen and especially the island was well suited to a large meal. We took advantage of the outdoor grill and fireplace. Was a very enjoyable experience.
