About this property

Coral Shores #4-Ocean Front Condo in Pine Knoll Shores, NC

Coral Shores #4
This oceanfront retreat is steps from the seaside, where the crystal clear Caribbean-like waters of our namesake coast draw folks from near and far. This is the ideal place to slip away and enjoy a resort-style holiday while taking advantage of all of the charm and sweet southern soul of Bogue Banks. Located in Pine Knoll Shores, you will find peaceful stretches of pristine beach tucked back behind the maritime forest— this spot is a rare treasure and a nature’s haven. Lush green and dunes out your door as well as seagulls and sandpipers, surfers and shell seekers strolling the beach, combine to make Coral Shores #4 a refuge and a delight for the senses.

Inside, this unit is as fresh as the ocean breeze; the natural tones, textures and materials reflect the beauty of the beach itself. The muted colors combined with wicker, wood, and linen, pops of turquoise and subtle blues mix beautifully with the cool grey open kitchen with countertop seating for three, making this a clean and modern, livable space. The U-shaped caramel-colored leather couch is inviting and roomy— the perfect place for friends and family to gather and admire the view of the sparkling sea and the sky. The other sweet spot is the balcony, where having a cocktail at sunset is an event in and of itself. If entertaining is the plan, there is a dining table, too, as well as plenty of sleeping space to accommodate all your guests!

In this beautifully thought-out and contemporary-styled space, the main floor is where you will find the living area and kitchen, as well as the primary bed and bath. The two guest bedrooms and a separate bath are on the third floor, with ample room and views of both the ocean and the sound! The bathrooms are inviting and spa-like, with glassed-in tile showers. Not to mention, the third-floor location is a boon, allowing for some separation of kids or guests.

Enjoy the sweet coastal life from this condo, with the NC Aquarium, shops and dining close by. The community itself has top-notch amenities that you can never get enough of, including a swimming pool and tennis courts and, of course, the beach right outside your door! You can literally live the dream one day at a time at 535 Salter Path Rd, Unit 4!

Location was great but….needs lots of TLC
Upon arrival the check in process was uncomplicated. You will be greeted with 19 continuous steps to get to main living area. Somewhat of a challenge navigating luggage, etc. The cleaning of the unit was less than impressive. We wiped up grainy material (sand/salt/??) from countertops and after wiping up melted ice cube from floor had a black napkin. Honestly, not sure floors were mopped after seeing this. The mirror on wall in living area had a cloudy film on surface. The furniture was not the most comfortable, the stitching in seams of leather couch was starting to slightly separate and the back pillows of couch and oversized deep chair were pretty broken down. The table on main floor deck was so weathered and splintered it was really not usable for games, or eating. The outdoor chairs were not very comfortable, but the view was fantastic! The showers had spots on inside of glass (hard water stains?) and in the guest shower on upper level, there were strands of hair hanging to interior shower glass. There is another 18 steps (interrupted with small landing) to get to upper level. The ocean front king bedroom had visible dust (could actually write in it) on the dresser unit and there was an area rug at foot of bed covering large stain on carpet. This was a tripping hazard as the edges wanted to roll up. The hammocks as pictured weren’t usable(molded and not attached) off of upper bedrooms. Washer/dryer on ground floor. 4 cup coffee maker!?! Pool was great, nice boardwalk.
