A lovely position in a quiet settlement on a large plot with a beautiful garden and the gentle murmur of the stream that separates the property from the quiet lane running running through the village. The Larches is the last of a short row of properties accessible over a little stone bridge. There's good parking space to the front, though one has to take care driving across the bridge. We were very comfortable in the spacious accommodation which was clean and pleasantly decorated. The sitting room lighting was poor, making it difficult to read. Lack of Internet was also a drawback. The kitchen was well provisioned but a surprising lack of food cupboard space. There were 2 spacious ovens but no baking trays. We hope to return one day as it is a lovely place for a holiday Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Wonderful
What a lovely property! Located in a pretty little village with easy access to Kirkby Stephen. Had a lovely 60th birthday weekend for my dad with family coming from Scotland and York. So a perfect meet in the middle for us all. The only blip was that I assumed that there was WiFi so only brought activities for the children that required internet access and a music system that needed WiFi. But that is honestly the only fault that we could find and in all honesty it really didn’t matter. So thank you for the use of this beautiful house and we will be back again.
