Good location

House was in a good location and my family enjoyed the drive way as we drove under the trees. Its about 10 to 15 mins to ithica and close to the state park there as well. A few things Id like to suggest is Central air. Each room had a portable heater unit which was nice but also had to be managed individually. Central air would help in keeping the house warm or cool with convenience in mind. The dishwarsh was also not working. It wasnt too bad for our family to wash the dishes but it took time we would have spent doing other things like hiking or playing on our mini vacation. It would be nice to have it working if we visit again. Lastly the front door made very loud slams when it was closing. The room is lo ated right next to the front door si if you forget to close it gently, you would likely wake someone up.All in all it was a great house. Property managers were helpful and courteous to us and all around the stay was comfortable.

Sweet house in the woods

I really enjoyed my stay at Hollie’s property. It’s a perfect sized house for two. I came to town to visit my daughter at Ithaca College. The house is just over 15 minutes from IC. I’m glad I drove my Subaru since some of the road was on unpaved-but-well-maintained roads. The long driveway into the property resembled a service road and was a bit bumpy. We shared the driveway with some majestic deer who came out to welcome us. One of the nights I was there, my daughter and I enjoyed a sleepover with movies on the big screen TV and comfy arm chairs. We each had a cozy Queen bed to sleep in. The house is remote. I’d say it’s refreshed but not renovated. It’s homey and comfortable. My favorite time was waking to an unexpected snowfall and sipping really good coffee (provided by the hosts) from a hefty Fiestaware mug and looking out over the vast hillside at the undisturbed snow. It was quiet and refreshing. There were thoughtful treats awaiting our arrival. Essential toiletries were provided.Looking forward to staying there again when the weather breaks and we can venture outside more and get some hiking in.
