It was really nice to be there. We stayed total 12 days and felt like our home. Easy transportation to downtown and other places. Would prefer again in the future.

Has the necessities

Updated facilities in a decent location. Studio rooms are very small but have the necessities (hot water, towels, some hygine products, bed, TV, kitchenette stocked with pots and pans and serving items, mini fridge/freezer, dining table). The main issue for us was that you don’t have control of the temperature (it's centrally controlled) and it was too hot for us (and our window was broken so we couldn't get outside air). Also the bed is a full size murphy bed, which isn't the most comfortable. Note that the "free parking" is actually street parking on side streets. You have to schedule a time for check-in and communication was spotty. Overall a decent place to crash with some minor inconveniences.

Worst ever!

Upon arrival it was very confusing- there was no info on how to get into the building or find our rooms. Luckily a lady was walking out and gave us the phone number of the manager Amina, who sent the cleaning lady to open the door for us. Checkin time is 3:00 but my room was only ready by 7:30 pm!! The manager didn't offer any apologies or credit, and kept saying she might have a move me yet again to another room. By the second night the hydro power went out and emergency lights were not working in the hallways! I had come into Montreal for a medical treatment and told the manager I couldn't stay in a place with no power - she refused to give me a refund and said "we can't lose money" OMG! No compassion for my situation but she eventually gave me back $20...Then insulted me as I walked out. Rude unprofessional service. And a putrid smell coming from the bathroom drains. Such a nightmare experience. My worst ever.

Notre séjour était super! Points positifs : À l’arrivée un hôte nous a accueilli, la communication était excellente, chambres très propres, wifi très rapide, cuisine équipée et petit frigo très utile. Quelques petits points négatifs : Il n’y a pas de stationnement désigné pour le bâtiment, le stationnement se fait dans la rue, sinon notre appartement se situait sur le coin de l’immeuble, qui donne sur le bar sportif, disons qu’en fin de soirée c’est bruyant. En gros, c’est un très bel endroit à rester bien situé au prix que ça vaut, c’est un gros 8/10!

La personne responsable est très efficace. L’arrivée était particulière puisqu’il a fallu que je téléphone à la personne qui a débarré la porte extérieure à distance. Mais bon, ça a fonctionné parfaitement. L’appartement n’est pas gigantesque mais les photos représentaient la réalité. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Gréât service and communication from staff! The place was a little dirty, some old food left in the cupboards but otherwise decent. On arrival, no curb-side appeal, the facade could use a makeover or even just a window cleaning.

L’insonorisation est totalement inexistante! On peut entendre les gens dormir au travers des murs, même si ils ne ronflent pas. Le wi-fi gratuit est filtré. Plusieurs sites web Ne sont pas accessibles via le réseau wifi de l’établissement.

Good value for money in a transitioning hood

The neighborhood is transitioning, not the greatest, but there's a métro (green line) station a few minutes walk away, and it's very close to downtown. Parking is on the street, but easy to find. First impression (an old apartment bldg, no reception desk) is deceiving. Maria came to open the door within minutes, was very nice and helpful, showed us around the apartment and made sure we had everything we needed. Good value for money, if you don't mind being in a not-yet gentrified neighborhood a couple of km away from the action.

Logement propre et accueillant.

Beau logement propre, bien équipé et bien situé. À quelques minutes de marche d'une station de métro, d'un supermarché, d'une boulangerie/pâtisserie, de bons restaurants. Maria, à l'accueil, est très gentille et serviable. Seul inconvénient, le réfrigérateur est parfois très bruyant au point de réveiller la nuit. Le stationnement gratuit se trouve sur une rue voisine.
