A very nice stay at Sonder Testaccio!

Sonder Testaccio benefits from a convenient location in a safe and quiet area. It is surrounded by pleasant restaurants and is close to a local market. For just EUR 15 per person, guests can enjoy a delicious continental breakfast. The front desk staff are consistently helpful and friendly.

Spotless and Service

The staff was absolutely amazing! We do not speak Italian, at all, they helped us whenever we needed! Our room was cleaned spotless and the housekeeping staff kept the entire building clean and smelling fresh. I can not recommend this hotel enough.

Really lovely spot in an out of the way area in Rome. The market is lovely and the restaurants in the area were fantastic. It is not super close to some of the main tourist sites but if you like being away from the hustle and bustle this is a great place to stay.

It’s by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in Rome. It’s small and cozy, yet the rooms are wonderful, super clean and designed beautifully. The staff is super friendly and are always there to help out.

The staff could not be any better. Always so helpful and responsive. The breakfast was better than I expected. Big selection and one day we were offered a hot breakfast. Unlimited dining and shopping options right outside the door. 15 minute car ride into the historical area.

The staff were friendly and helpful! Mirela especially treated us well. Our room was perfectly clean and we felt safe and comfortable. The area was walking distance to wonderful restaurants (such as Masto!) and it was very easy to walk to Rome city center. Would highly recommend Sonder to anyone!

Great hotel

Well maintained hotel. Great staff. Large rooms. Location is outside of the historical center but easy to get to by the metro with great restaurants close by. Only issue i have is the check in time. 16:00 is a bit late for those arriving in the country early in the morning and having to pay extra to check in a hour or two early is a bit excessive.

We love Testaccio. This neighborhood is quiet and full of wonderful real Italian restaurants. This hotel was perfect for our stay. Super clean and renovated. Location couldn’t be better if you’re trying to stay away from the crowded and touristy traps. You will feel like a local here :) Bonus points is a wonderful complimentary coffee machine available 24/7 for everyone. The staff was wonderful. They went above and beyond with anything we needed. Thank you Benito, you were very helpful! Will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Sonder Testaccio. We took a cab from the airport but the bus and metro stops are nearby and we used those too. The hotel is very nice with 24 hour coffee and water and a lovely "continental" breakfast (for an extra 15 euros) which is really a full buffet. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, and there was a medicine cabinet and drawers in the bathroom which was super helpful and convenient. There is someone at the desk 24 hours and they were all so nice and friendly and ready to help with restaurant recommendations, calling a cab, and anything else that we needed. The Pyramide metro stop is a 10 minute walk and then only two stops to Coliseo. We found the metro very clean, fast, and safe. There is a very cool market, "Mercato di Testaccio" right next door and a contemporary art exhibit called Mattatoio (don't confuse them like we did) on the other side. And we can recommend the restaurant Ai Cocci which had such wonderful service and food.

Great stay.

Took city train from airport. When we got off city train it was hard to find the bus we needed to get on to to go to the hotel so we took a cab. Cost about 11 euro. Instruction that I got through Watsup from hotel was very clear (make sure you download Watsup app. Most hotel if not all in Europe is the way they will communicate with you) Hotel was great. Easy access to restaurants and bars. It also behind a pharmacy and grocery store. About 30 min walk to the colosseum. Room was clean and cozy. Bathroom is clean decent. Fairly new. Staff was amazing. Very helpful.
