Awesome place to stay in, and the area itself is in a very quiet part of the Tanki Lender neighbourhood. Restaurants and fastfood really close by and so is a gas station if you are renting a car. Very close to some tourist attractions like the Casibari Rock Formations which is like less than a 10 minute drive. The next time we find ourselves in Aruba, would definitely stay at Aruba Tropic Apartments again.

Nice apartment.

We stayed one night at the apartment due to our connection flight. The kids love the small swimming pool. Very clean apartment with free Wifi. Closed to the airport (15 mins away) and the fast restaurants (Wendy's). Good dayily rate.

Excellent!!! I recommend this hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Is special for families, couples and groups of friends. We stayed only one night but we wish to stay more days. Aruba is amazing!!!

Decent Value, relatively

Stayed in Aruba Tropic Apartments over Christmas. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom and a kitchen. The layout of the room was great and the hotel property in general is very nice, it has a cute little pool and outdoor tables where we had our daily breakfast. The place is very peaceful, all other residents were quite, which was great. We had our family Christmas dinner in front of the pool under the starts and we cooked fresh seafood on the BBQ, it was wonderful. Angelique was very accommodating and helpful. The downsides are that the place is a little remote, and deep down it needs a little bit more up keeping, the pots and pans were very old and not so clean, and 2 of the burners in our gas stove were not working. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we would recommend this property.

Nice mini villa

This was a nice little villa that was very clean. It cost us a $10 taxi ride to the beaches by the low rise hotels. This is great if you want to be in town and not on the beach. Also great if you like to cook your own meals while on vacation. This is a 3 min walk to Wendy's, many restraunts, and a 7 min walk to a bakery. The owner is very nice and will go out of her way to make sure you feel comfortable. She will even drop you off at the airport for the normal taxi price so you don't have to wait for a cab when leaving. Overall a great experience if you like to be in town with the locals and don't need a beach on site while on vacation.

Quiet and Relaxing

This apartment is in a quiet neighborhood so you need to have a car or cab it to the malls or beaches. The cost of a cab to the mall is about 8 to 10 dollars US. There is a grocery store with-in walking distance of the apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the courtyard is quaint and well maintained.

Fantastic apartments

The owners are incredibly nice, the rooms were in excellent condition. They provided towels, free snacks and drinks with the room, and it also had HOT water for showering! And the price was very reasonable, would definitely stay here the next time I am in Aruba.

Umm, NO!

You can't even walk around the bed because it's up against the wall. The closet door hits the bed and you have no room to take your things out of the closet properly. The bed wasn't changed in 1 week. The TV didn't work. It took 3 days to get it replaced. The replacement was too small to view easily from the bed. Forget it, go somewhere else.

Vacationer BEWARE

Before you book here: The amenities stated on its site were not included in our stay. It was missing things such as the hair blower, tea kettle, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, beach towels, and blankets. In addition: The safe was broken, the wifi doesn't reach the second floor, the stairs to the second floor only has one railing, the washer/dryer only accepts local currency, the shampoo/bodywash dispensers don't work and there are ANTS. There is only one off-site maintenance person to directly contact who doesn't have a good command of the english language, took a day to replace a light bulb and picks up phone calls when he wants to. Hotels.com was contacted and even they were unable to reach him for over a day. We were forced to check out two days into the stay due to sleep deprevation. The bed sheets might be due for a cleaning as well because we were itching throughout the nights. Aruba Tropic Apartments have not provided anything substantial to help with the situation except informing us that they will use bug spray and it is a "self-serving" site.
