Overall nice place for a few summer nights in Aspen. The manager, Ruben, and his crew were wonderful - friendly and helpful for local suggestions on hiking and other activities. The free breakfast is really good as well. Only thing I can suggest to management is that the place needs a reno. The floor of the unit above ours creaked quite loudly and the noise would wake us up when the occupants would walk around.

Best value for money in Aspen

We had a lovely stay. Our room was super spacious (3 adults) and comfortable. Lounge area in front of the fireplace is a nice bonus. Great breakfast and apres ski wine and cheese. Hot tub and heated pool areas were well maintained, clean and not crowded at all. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. All of them went above and beyond what would normally be expected to help us out. Everything about this place is well thought through, with a guest in mind. I was apprehensive about booking 2.5 star hotel; upon arrival I continued being pleasantly surprised every day of our stay. We will definitely be back.

Great location, friendly staff!

This hotel was clean and central to everything. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The bed in our room was less comfortable than what we're used to, but it did the trick for a night! The room was rustic and a good size. The bathroom in our room was spotless! We would definitely go back!

A little expensive for the quality.

Hotel was expensive for what it was. You can tell that this used to be a very nice hotel in its heyday and that the owners care a lot about the place. But the decor is dated and it could use a little freshening up. Breakfast was well done ad service was excellent.

Wonderful stay!

My husband and our two children stayed at the Aspen Mountain Lodge in December and had a wonderful stay. Their friendly staff are as warm and inviting as the beautiful fireplace set in the middle of the hotel. The breakfast and apres-ski were delicious! Comfy rooms and GREAT location to downtown and shuttles to the ski hills make this a perfect place to stay.

Very Decent Lodging in Aspen

Probably the best part of my stay here was the very pleasant, personable and helpful front desk staff. It is well worthwhile to make the additional outlay for a balcony room. The view, while not spectacular, is still quite pleasant. The prices for water and soft drinks provided in the room were in line with those at the grocery store. The location is a bit removed from the centre of town, but it is within easy walking distance and I found that after a night out, if I was feeling a little weary for the walk back, I could make use of the free bus service and get dropped off almost directly across the street from the hotel. The complimentary continental breakfast had everything I needed - bagels, cereal, fruit, toast, and a do-it-yourself waffle iron.

Excelente lugar el personal muy amable todo muy bien. Los detalles fueron que en dos ocasiones nos pidieron amablemente que nos fuéramos del área común a las 10 pm. Y se entiende pero ya estando en nuestra habitación en los pisos de arriba hacías mucho ruido y se hospedaban hasta 6 personas o más. No se nos hizo justo pero lo agradable del viaje fue genial

Great if you are in Aspen to ski. If you wear a leopard print ski suit and take a lot of selfies, perhaps something else would be better for you.

For $500 a night they offer very poor amenities ( old dispenser with cheap products ) in the shower, bring your own shampoo/ etc . Carpets are dirty and smelly, there was an actual yellow large wet stain in front of the bathroom. Thought it was dog urine maybe, but it was the radiator leaking. I alerted management and they comped one of my night , it s appreciated but nothing was fixed as I had to hop over and cover the floor with towels. And not one came to fix the issue. Another detail, the walls are paper thin, you can hear all your neighbors conversations. And it gets loud. Breakfast is not very good and some of the yogurts for breakfast were expired 3 days ago, just not a good place to stay in Aspen. Would not return.

I would highly recommend this location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was in the heart of the downtown where everything happens. Also they provided a real breakfast.
