We loved our time at the Castle. Our boys thought it was so cool that we got to stay in a castle for the weekend. The apartment was well stocked and everything was comfy and cozy. The building was very quiet and I rarely heard another person. We enjoyed the game rooms and library. Great communication also. Some things outside of the actual rooms are in need of repair (cracking and peeling paint and broken baseboards) but nothing that impacted our stay! I have a feeling we will be back!

Tow bedroom apartment

We stayed at a two bedroom apartment with balcony. Assigned parking space in the garage was conveniently located close to the entrance of the building and elevator. Apartment very nice and clean, kitchen well equipped, two spacious bathrooms. Bedrooms are a good size with an extra small room for luggage. Beds have very comfortable mattresses.

The property was beautiful and the room itself was clean but the hall leading into the building and the hall on the first floor smells awful. It smells like dog urine.

Nope.

Pool was shut down. Kids couldn't swim, which was main reason of going. No receptionist. Hard to find your parking spot. Early check out time and expensive. Will not stay again or recommend. The place is an absolute maze.

The Mario themed room was a hit with our grandson. We stayed for a wedding with our son and wife and their 7 year old. The room was clean and well appointed. The directions were not real clear and this is a huge complex. It would also have been nice to have directions to get to the library. It took quite the search!! Would rent again if in the area with kids. Painting was well done. Grandson suggested having more games on the switch :) He was hoping to try something he didn’t have. Minor comment not a complaint!

Confusing rental with pros and cons

I will start off by saying that our actual apartment and the pool area were great. The apartment was spacious, clean and quiet. We appreciated that greatly. Other than that, this rental was really awful. Not getting a check-in email in a timely manner really started our reservation off badly. We received a text with our codes, but without an email we had no idea of anything else. After a long day, we spent almost 90 minutes wandering around, talking to residents, trying to find our room number and where to park. Our six year old was in tears and starving for dinner. Since it was a Sunday evening there were no employees to be found. The door from the parking garage to the elevator did not open and close properly and we had to throw our whole body on the door to open it. The elevator was very quirky, buzzing, opening and closing up to six times after every stop. The hallways reeked of dog urine from what I can assume was due to poor dogs waiting on stalled elevators. Our eyes were literally watering from the stench. The carpets in front of and in the elevators were soaked with dog urine and spots everywhere. We arrived home our second night to a letter on our door from the property accusing us of smoking Marijuana on our balcony (which we absolutely did not). We will absolutely not stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the castle; it worked out very well for our family of nine. It was so nice to have the laundry there and the view was great with it being on the 11th floor. Sleeping arrangements worked well and having 2 bathrooms was so convenient. There was an issue with the lock/doorknob upon arrival and Mitten was very attentive, even sending a maintenance worker to help solve the problem later at night. We would for sure consider staying again the next time we are in Michigan.

Nice but needs some maintenance

The unit is good sized and had all the amenities that we needed. It does need a refresh. Examples: broken Aladdin on kitchen counter, hole in back of couch, broken/loose toilet paper holder and towel rack, very worn mugs, old towels with bleach spots. All that said, it worked perfectly for what we needed.

Apartments have everything that you need

I booked 2 apartments, they were clean, cozy and spacious. Kitchen has everything that you need for a quick cook or a elaborated one. Love the communication and quick response. Every people we took the elevator with, were so nice and kind. Not issues at all.
