The accommodation is comfortable, clean, and modern. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet. Host was responsive, they helped book transportation for us. In Google Maps the location is known as “Akua Reserve” in case you need to tell whoever is driving you to this location.

A rustic casita in the jungle. Totally off-grid so the amenities, although quite adequate for our needs, are indeed rustic, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The property is located about 15 kms from Tulum so a car is an absolute necessity. Casita Milagros is within easy reach of Chichen Itzá and the beach at Bahia Principe, both highly recommended day trips.Oh, and be prepared to interact, if you wish, the resident and very friendly pet coati, Pepe. We stayed in a penthouse suite that had a small pool up top. We loved the privacy of it and enjoyed time with our granddaughter in it. The staff were amazing!! They were extremely helpful and friendly:) I would come back just to see them! They gave us beach toys to use for our granddaughter as well as having a crib available. I would recommend having a vehicle which was helpful to get to the beach and to restaurants downtown. The gym was great and we used that daily. The small restaurant on site was actually very good and helpful when we arrived late. We felt very safe there. I would highly recommend this place!

At Casa Mtl, we felt like we were staying at a resort, but it was even better because we didn't have to share with a 1,000 people & it was quiet & peaceful & off the beaten path. The apartment was well appointed, the bed was comfortable, shower had good water pressure & there is A/C in the apartment; the WIFI was good & the kitchen has everything you need. The ground pool is awesome, the rooftop splash pool was especially great at night & the stargazing on the rooftop was spectacular! Outdoor BBQ on the rooftop was great to have in addition to the stove/oven in the apartment. Josh & Mario have bicycles & a scooter for rent which is convenient. The bikes are a great way to get around if you're not traveling too far - it’s only a 15-minute ride to the grocery store. If you take the scooter, the grocery store is a quick 5-minute ride. There is a convenience store (OXXO) located 1 block from Casa Mtl & lots of new yummy restaurants close by, all within walking distance. The beach is not within walking distance, you will either have to take a taxi, or rent a scooter; we do not recommend cycling to the beach. We always felt safe and Josh & Mario ensured we felt comfortable & had everything we needed for our stay. They are very friendly & accommodating and offered us lots of helpful tips & advice for getting around and things to do. Josh & Mario are genuinely good people & we felt like they treated us like family. 100% absolutely will be back to stay at this property again!

This was our second time staying at Casa Vendaval. It is such a beautiful property and area. There are all the amenities you need for an amazing luxury vacation. Thank you Mac, Edwin and Erma for always making us feel at “home away from home”. We look forward to when we can return to paradise.
