There was 1 million view with some issues with our stay between the barking dogs at night the ants in the apartment and all the walking we had to do to get place to place. Store hours weren’t explained to us, no communication with the owner. There were other guest staying at Villa Laura at the same time that invited their family and friends to party with them to all hours of the night. 5 night was definitely enough next time. We would probably stay in Revello. Sorry, but just being honest. This is not what we expected.
If you have mobility issues, then this is not the place for you, however if you want a small, quaint authentic Italian hamlet - look no further! We can not say enough nice things about our host, she is lovely, and her apartment is clean, the beds are comfortable, and she was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The location is remote - there is no way to be in Pontone if you are not able to walk stairs, and manage hills! We easily climbed over 9000 stairs alone in our 10 days, and we used public transit often. (Download the Sita bus app - it’s hard to find bus tickets anywhere, and it will plan your route and allow you to buy tickets online). There is a store for groceries about 20 minutes away by foot - uphill back. It may sound as though I am complaining- we loved it! But I would be glad to have known these details beforehand just to ensure we were prepared. The two restaurants in town are very nice, with friendly family staff, and the Blue Bar is open daily where you can get a coffee, cocktails, snacks , and a limited amount of groceries.A wonderful memory for us of the Amalfi Coast
We had 6 glorious days in Amalfi. Vincenzo & Samantha were immediately responsive to all our needs, from the time of first booking and throughout our stay! The place is beautifully situated just beyond the heart of Amalfi with views beautiful enough to wake up to in the middle of the night, feeling the enchantment. The historical quality is maintained on the exterior but inside is tastefully contemporary! Great pool! One of the very best places i have ever stayed. And Special kudos to Giuseppe for greeting us upon arrival, carrying our luggage & warm intro to our“home”
It’s a very nice place to stay in Amalfi. Super location near of all activities, restaurants and shops ( you are directely on the main street).
Hosts are fantastic and we have good communication to organise our stay.
My family stayed at Casa Adrjana for six glorious days. Its perfectly located in Amalfi making it easy to walk into Atrani or Amalfi for dinner as well as easy to get to other towns along the coast. We loved everything about it!
Adrjana's apartment is spacious, comfortable and has all the comforts of home. She is welcoming and the best host of all the host I have ever stayed with using VRBO. She met us late in the evening when we arrived and showed us around the apartment. She had some snacks, lemons and juice for us which was a nice touch.
When we woke up the next morning, we were blown away by the gorgeous view and yard and it was all ours! There was an outdoor table for dining, lounge chairs and I would also recommend using her parking garage if you have a car, because parking is difficult. She made our stay perfect in every way.
The beds are comfortable, the rooms are large, there is plenty of space to unpack and having laundry and a drying line was super helpful!
I would highly recommend you stay at her apartment and enjoy this magnificent town.
Fantastic accommodation with a dream view. Angela was a wonderful host and very helpful answering any questions. Be prepared to walk since you are either walking up or down anywhere in Positano!!!
This was our first time to Positano, and we were admittedly a little overwhelmed with the crowds and a delay in our luggage arriving. Marco was incredibly supportive and helpful and truthfully, we would have been lost without him. He even helped to arrange for a local store to open so we could buy clothes for us and our teenaged daughters! The views were incredible but it’s pretty high up which made jaunts to the beach or restaurants a little challenging. But as always, it’s a balance between a quiet, beautiful view and proximity to the action. Overall this property and Marco have set the bar very high for us! Highly recommend!
