A wonderful and cozy little house, all on one level, with two bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. The beds are very comfortable, featuring firm foam mattresses. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities, including a gas stove, microwave, Keurig machine, and plenty of cutlery, dishes, pots, and pans. Now, some advice for fellow city dwellers like myself who might be new to staying in a farmhouse with well water: I recommend bringing your own water for the coffee machine and for drinking. The well water had a distinct fishy odor. The Keurig needed a couple of full rinses, using about a half gallon of water, to clear out the fishy smell. While I’m sure the water was safe to drink, it wasn’t to my liking. Additionally, during this time of year, the Asiatic ladybugs were eager to get inside. They found a small crack in the window to enter the back guest bedroom. Of all the potential bugs you might encounter in a home, these are harmless but can be annoying. Thankfully, there was a vacuum on hand to deal with them. All in all, it’s a super lovely farmhouse, and I highly recommend it. My comments are just suggestions for those used to city water and fewer critters to ensure they have the best experience possible.

Beautiful property located on Owasco Lake. The lake front is amazing and the pictures reflect very well just how wonderful it is! Very peaceful. Shallow water area and large lot, great for children and dogs. Conveniently located close to Auburn and Skaneateles. Owner is very responsive. Great back porch where we enjoyed all our meals. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a central location on the water and this cottage delivered. The cottage is small but ideal for a couple or family. It was very clean and had all the little extras that made it a great place to come back to after a day of hiking or biking. There are several options of places to sit for morning coffee or afternoon wine. The owner was extremely friendly and help make our stay so enjoyable. Next time we want to come at a different time to enjoy some of the great water activities available. A perfect vacation spot!

Clean, recently renovated space. Small, but enough space for two. Just a few steps to the lake. About a five minute drive to Geneva. A great restaurant (Ports Cafe) is a quarter mile away. A good location: Most of the wineries, breweries, and hiking trails on three of the Finger Lakes (Seneca, Cayuga, Keuka) are within an hours drive.

We stayed for three nights at the end of August, but could have stayed longer easily. The property was as advertised. The layout made the best use of the space, kitchen was equipped beyond my expectations, rooms were comfy, and the dock and watercraft were fantastic. Except for one fabric stain on a dining room chair, the place was immaculate when we arrived. You could tell the owners have put a lot of thought and care into the property. Golf-courses and wineries were within easy walking distance, and Ithaca, Corning and state parks are within a reasonable drive for people who want to add day trips. The lake and neighboring cottages were very quiet during our stay. Not sure if it was due to the timing of our visit or if that's how it always is, but it was an added bonus during our stay. I've already recommended the place to family and friends. Would 100% go back.
