Rethymno villas

Was very enjoyable stay, hosted s provided lots of valuable information. Pool was wonderful for kids and big kids. Market, restaurants, bakery and coffee shops all within walking distance. Bus stop block away from villa. There were 8 of us but lots of room!! I would stay here again.

We were a group of five adults and stayed a week in early May. The location of thebilla is ideal to explore Chania, Rethymno, and surrounding area. There is easy access off the main highway and the villa is located in a village largely untouched by mass tourism. There are tavernas within walking distance, there is an excellent supermarket next door, and there is a butcher, fishmonger and bakery in the village. Episkopi beach is lovely and only a short drive from the villa. The villa itself is comfortable with climate control in each room. Comfortable beds and above all an amazing terrace with a breathtaking view that you would never tire of looking at. The host Andreas is communicative and helpful and quick to respond to any question. Lovely touches su h as gifts of cretan cake and local herbs and olive oil made us feel welcome. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Sugar and would gladly return agIn.

The villa is simply magnificent and beyond our expectations. The highlight is definitely the outside space including a pool, rest area, table, etc. Ms. Maria is an amazing & lovely host. We felt at home and we appreciated the attention to details. Do not hesitate to stay in this house! Thank you for everything.

My mom and I came to Crete for a beautiful 5 night stay at this gorgeous property. Marianne was so AMAZING and helpful The property exceeded our expectations and staying in this beautiful village was awesome. Thank you and we hopefully will be back again Sue

We had a wonderful week at Michalis’ familys villa. It was well equipped and we had all of our meals there. The many patios and pool are beautiful and have remarkable sunsets. Michalis is very kind and we enjoyed very much the fresh vegetables, eggs, olive oil and raki from his family farm. Thank you again for an incredible time in Crete and we look forward to returning in the future.

This is the best villa we’ve ever stayed at in all of our travels. We were greeted upon arrival and given a thorough tour of the premises and welcomed with gifts of fresh fruit and olive oil, honey, wine and rail made all made by our hosts. We rented a car and this was required at this location. However, during our 9-day stay, we were perfectly happy to spend some days at the villa with a short walk to town for lunch. Blow dryer, shampoo and body wash was provided, pool and bath towels, dishwasher soap and a rack for drying laundry (no clothes dryer, just a washing machine). We made use of the herbs in the garden (basil and rosemary) as well as limes from the tree in the yard. We also cooked at the villa every day, using the bbq as well as the oven and stovetop. Everything was in excellent working order and the kitchen was very well equipped. We really enjoyed the pool and had some fun games of volleyball. In October, we founded that even with highs up to 29 degrees, it started cooling down at about 4:00 pm. We highly recommend Villa Eleftherna.

In August 2019, my family and I visited Crete for the first time. We had a great stay. I love outdoors and this place made me want to be outside all day! Hanging by the pool, having dinners outside. Pool was great. My 8 year old had so much fun. We adults did two. Eva the host - was wonderful, 10 of 10 superior customer service! I travelled from Canada with my daughter to meet my parents here, and I was the first one to arrive. After a long journey, I came there, with full fridge, homemade lasagna and ice cream for my girl! Oh, let's not forget the vine! Just wonderful welcome. I felt save and good being there. That evening, we needed to test the pool and it was great, my daughter had endless energy and excited about this place!! I hope to be back in 2021 so hopefully this is place I get to stay again.
