Villa Tara is absolutely charming! The property is beautiful and the pool lovely and private. The house is small inside and practical. Given how hot it was, we spent very little time inside; however, as a family of 4 not all of us could fit on the couch if we had wanted to. There are couches/ seating outside and plenty of shade, which was welcomed. The property is quite remote and lush - which means late afternoon/ evening the bugs are real! It is not walking distance to anything. We ate all our dinners out with great restaurants close by in Itri and a bit further in Sperlonga {20-25 mins away}. The coast/ beach is 10-15 mins drive down. The property manager/ team was super helpful and welcoming, we had a wonderful stay - thank you!

We had a great time at the villa. It is big enough to accommodate all nine of us. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The main reason booking this house was the listed proximity to the beach. However, the 300 step beach is not close as it is listed at 300 meters. It is about 1.7 km walking down the hill through private area not reachable by car. It is at about 4 km driving distance. Be aware that two of the bedrooms are pass-through in the basement and might be not very convenient if you have grown up kids or people not relating to each other. To our surprise , two kittens were wandering in the house yard and were climbing the dinner table while no one's around. I am glad that no one is allergic to cats in our group, but I find we should have been warned about this feature. All in all we had a great time there.

Giuseppe and his wife were very attentive hosts. They were able to help arrange many things for us, including a caterer for dinners at the villa. The property was very grand and was the perfect size for our family of 10. The 2 kids enjpyed the pool. The villa is a little dated and could use a refesh in the kitchen and bathrooms. All in all, we enjoyed our time at La Villa dei Limone
