Gracisce villas

We are four adults, ages 60+ who stayed at Goran's beautiful villa for three weeks in June. From the moment we booked, Goran was in touch assuring us that he would be taking care of us and that we would not be disappointed. He was right. We wanted a place that was in the countryside, had privacy and quiet, yet was a reasonable driving distance (< an hour) to the sea and historical towns. Villa Barbara was perfect. The home was spotless - inside and out - when we arrived, and the grounds and pool maintenance team took care of the exterior weekly. There was a housekeeping option for an additional charge, but we opted to do our own housekeeping, and with a washing machine in the villa, we were able to do our own laundry, which was our preference. The villa was one of the highlights of our visit to Istria. It had everything we needed, and the whole villa was spectacular. We loved the outdoor space with the gorgeous infinity pool. Although the kitchen was fully equipped, there were no basic supplies such as sugar and spices so make sure you bring those along. We highly recommend and would love to return!

We really enjoyed our stay at the wonderful old farm house in central Istria. The location was great for exploring the Istrian peninsula. We loved relaxing and cooking by the pool in the afternoon and eating in the outdoor eating area. Alenka was a great host. Overall a wonderful property for people wanting to be off the beaten path and have room to stretch out.
