Algonquin Park cabins

Beautiful rustic cabin that faces Madawaska River. Brad (also met his mom) are lovely hosts.Cabin is in the yard (I think) of Brad's family cabin. He told me he'd be on the property the day we checked in. His family did some maintenance but they left the following day. It's very private, which we love.Cabin itself is very well-equipped. Different sizes of frying, soup and sauce pans. Different cooking utensils. Even paper filters for the coffee machine. There's also steak knives, pitchers, shot glasses, wine glasses, mixing bowls, extra toilet paper, paper towels, hand towels and kitchen towels. Can't emphasize enough how well-stocked the kitchen is.No AC but you don't need it. If you open all the windows during the day, a nice breeze comes through the cabin. At night, the temperature really drops so, come prepared with extra blankets. Definitely bring your canoe, kayak or paddle board, and your swim gear. The river is just gorgeous. Geese like to hang out on the property. There's a lot of droppings everywhere, including on the rock stairs leading into the swimming area. But we're experienced campers and nature doesn't really bother us. Dock area is amazing. It's nice to just sit out there with a coffee. Lots of indoor and outdoor chairs available for a large family like ours.Old railroad parralel to roadway gets some foot traffic and the occasional ATV or dirt bike.
