Holiday rentals near Spilies Beach

Wave Villa is quite simply stunning. The rental management, the villa/property on-site management, through to the owners’ hospitality could not have been better. And then we get to the villa itself. Perched on top of a cliff over looking the southern Aegean Sea, with a small private beach equipped with your own sun loungers and umbrellas, the small town of Panormos sits a short walk away with its small port, cobbled streets, cafes, bakery, butchers, general supermarkets, restaurants, arts and crafts shops, and the E75 main trunk road providing easy access across the north of the island, from one corner to the other. The villa has got to be one of the best that we have had the privileged to stay in. Large rooms, each with full shower and bathroom facilities, air conditioning throughout, and equipped with every amenity you could wish for when staying in property like this, including a fully loaded fridge, fresh fruit, tea and coffee, local olive oil, wine, and Raki (the must have Cretan spirit enjoyed after all meals, and even breakfast if it takes your fancy). And the owners personally cooked us a wonderful moussaka and traditional Greek dessert. Very thoughtful, and very special. Then you move outside of the villa and into the pool area. Here you’ll find separate areas, all seamlessly joined but each serving a function from the large dining area with comfortable cushioned benches, to the small and shallow kids’ pool area, to the sunken pool area with a couple of loungers that immerse you in the water, the beautiful pool itself, and the large jucazzi, all positioned within decking again equipped with high quality sun loungers and large sun umbrellas. In fact, the entire villa and property has an attention to detail from a design and from a practicality perspective that can only be described as impressive. We had a wonderful time at this villa. If we get the chance, we will certainly come back to enjoy once again Wave Villa. Thank you to all of the ‘team’.
