The Lodge is located in Eastbourne, on the South East's 'Sunshine Coast.' The property is a great place to stay as a base whilst enjoying a short break in Eastbourne and the surrounding area.

Nestled in the beautiful South Downs, Eastbourne is bursting with many things to see and do. There are plenty of attractions. Visit the Victorian seafront, its pier or take a stroll along the promenade.

Enjoy a boat tour of the Eastbourne Harbour followed by a choice of many restaurants, whilst watching the sunset.

The town of Eastbourne itself has great shopping facilities with the recently expanded 'Beacon' shopping centre. For History lovers there is the Redoubt Fortress and Wish Tower and for those who love the arts, try the Towner Art Gallery and take in a show at the town's theatres including the recently refurbished Congress.

Eastbourne also has many summer exhibitions and events. From Eastbourne International Tennis Week (June 23-29, 2019) to Airbourne Airshow (August 15-18, 2019), there is always something happening. Don't forget the Magnificient Motors Event, showcasing vintage vehicles for motor enthusiasts (May 4-5, 2019)! All this plus the Bandstand on the seafront which hosts live music, pop tributes, fireworks, children's discos, big band and more!

The South Downs and UK's largest chalk sea cliff, Beachy Head, are Eastbourne's most famous TV and film locations. There are plenty of lovely country walks and pubs to enjoy.

The new lodge property is bright and spacious, located at the back of the owner's large garden. It has its own pathway along the side of the owner's house leading to it, to ensure privacy for visitors. Hosts, however, are nearby at the top of the garden if needed. Beautiful views of the South Downs are visible from the garden for a sense of peace and tranquility.

The lodge is bright, clean and modern. It has a large open-plan kitchen / living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, washer drier, breakfast bar, wall oven and microwave. The living room has two large sofas, including a sofa bed for any additional guests. There is also SKY television.

The lodge has two bedrooms. One bedroom has plenty of built-in wardrobe space and a double bed. The second bedroom has a 'small double' bed which sleeps one comfortably or two smaller guests. Altogether the lodge can sleep up to 3 people (and 4 at a push).

The bathroom has a large walk-in-shower, toilet and sink. Bedding and towels are provided. It is self-catering however a welcome basket is given for those essentials!

Enjoyed our return visit to the Garden Lodge to visit friends in Eastbourne. Very good position to get into town easily. Very well equipped to make stay comfortable and hopefully will return again.

Perfect stay

We had a lovely stay at Tim's lodge in Eastbourne. The lodge is really nicely done out and has everything you need. Its quiet and private and in a great location. Hosts were fab and we would definitely come again!

Fabulous!

Great place to stay in an excellent location! It was all very clean and all essentials were provided along with a very nice welcome basket of goodies for our arrival. Tim, our host, was extremely welcoming and very accommodating.I'd highly recommend this to anybody wanting a break away in Eastbourne.

Fantastic stay

Property situated in owners garden but totally private and not overlooked. We were warmly greeted by Tim, then entered lodge to find a wonderful welcome pack -milk, biscuits, bread to name but some. The lodge was bright, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable.Lovely area to explore.

Fantastic, great accommodation and great hosts

Visiting the south coast with my partner and 3 children. The location was great and the accomadation was superb and exactly what we needed. Plenty of space inside the property, all the amenities you would need and to top it all the host was as helpful and attentive as can be. We had a great stay, and if we was coming to the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to re book here! Thanks again!

Great option if you don't want central Eastbourne

The property is very tidy, and kitted out to a decent specification. The property manager has included thoughtful extras such as milk in the fridge, cereal, biscuits, coffee pods, bread etc. It was all very homely and we would happily stay there again if we have occasion to do so.

We visited ahead of tackling Seven Sisters as part of a huge charity campaign. Hosts were wonderful. The attention to detail was impressive, even down to a lovely welcome card and snack pack. The only downside was not staying there a second night!! Will definitely be back if visiting Eastbourne again!!

Schöne Unterkunft an toller Lage

Der check-in verlief einwandfrei. Tim und Julie sind meistens vor Ort, lassen einem Privatsphäre, zeigen jedoch viel Interesse an ihren Gästen. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl! Die Anbindung an das Bussystem ist quasi vor dem Haus. In 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreicht man den Hampden Park Bahnhof. Dort fahren Züge nach Brighton und London.

Kurzurlaub in Eastbourne

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in Eastbourne. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter lief reibungslos. Wir haben auch Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung bekommen. Bei unsrer Ankunft stand einer kleiner Proviantkorn mit Milch, Cereals und Chips auf dem Tisch. Sehr aufmerksam. Die Betten waren etwas kleiner als gedacht aber alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.,

Perfect in every way

Tim and Julie were perfect hosts and from the moment we arrived when we received a really warm and friendly welcome to when we left we could not of asked or hoped for more. Their property is as exactly as described and more and you can see they have given a lot of thought in wanting to ensure their guests have a very comfortable place to stay. We have been using VRBO for many years and their property is without doubt one of the nicest and best places we have stayed. Great!

We stayed here for one night. Theres space for 2 cars, there are 3 double beds, a couch, a washing machine and a shower. We were a party of 5 and it was fine. Very quiet, lots of privacy and about 30-40mins walk from the town. There is also a bus. Would stay again if I was back that way.
