This was our second visit and the property was as wonderful as we had remembered. Our host was most helpful in suggesting good places to visit. Close to Eastbourne and all it has to offer. 2 double rooms, both very comfy. Would stay for a third time!

Very spacious, well equipped lodge, only stayed one night as visited Eastbourne to watch the tennis but can highly recommend staying if you are visiting the area, generous breakfast hamper and milk in the fridge plus a coffee machine, can’t go wrong with any of that! Thank you!

This is s fantastic place to stay. All of the places we wanted to go to were in easy reach, even without a car. There are buses right outside the door that will take you to Eastbourne and from there on to Beachy Head and the Seven Apostles (or Brighton on the train). There is another train station less than 20 minutes away (a quiet scenic walk) and from there there are direct trains to Brighton. The lodge is wonderful, the hosts friendly and very very helpful. Highly recommended, we are looking forward to coming back very soon.

Enjoyed our return visit to the Garden Lodge to visit friends in Eastbourne. Very good position to get into town easily. Very well equipped to make stay comfortable and hopefully will return again.

Wow! This place was so great! You know how sometimes the place isn’t as nice as the pictures? For this place…it felt even nicer than the pictures. It’s a proper house…so much room, a welcome escape after traveling/sight seeing all day. And, it’s well-equipped with everything you need- a large refrigerator and freezer, an oven, a range, and washer/dryer (so grateful for that!) … all very clean. Tim was great with communication. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay at Tim's lodge in Eastbourne. The lodge is really nicely done out and has everything you need. Its quiet and private and in a great location. Hosts were fab and we would definitely come again!

Fabulous!

Great place to stay in an excellent location! It was all very clean and all essentials were provided along with a very nice welcome basket of goodies for our arrival. Tim, our host, was extremely welcoming and very accommodating.I'd highly recommend this to anybody wanting a break away in Eastbourne.

We were met with a warm welcome from Tim and shown to the holiday lodge . Photographs do not do justice to an excellent layout with all the home comforts you need . Not only was the lodge beautifully warm ( we were staying over Christmas ) but Tim and Julie went to the trouble of putting up a Christmas tree and making the lounge very seasonal. Great hosts and a great stay , we will be back..

Fantastic stay

Property situated in owners garden but totally private and not overlooked. We were warmly greeted by Tim, then entered lodge to find a wonderful welcome pack -milk, biscuits, bread to name but some. The lodge was bright, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable.Lovely area to explore.

Fantastic, great accommodation and great hosts

Visiting the south coast with my partner and 3 children. The location was great and the accomadation was superb and exactly what we needed. Plenty of space inside the property, all the amenities you would need and to top it all the host was as helpful and attentive as can be. We had a great stay, and if we was coming to the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to re book here! Thanks again!

Great option if you don't want central Eastbourne

The property is very tidy, and kitted out to a decent specification. The property manager has included thoughtful extras such as milk in the fridge, cereal, biscuits, coffee pods, bread etc. It was all very homely and we would happily stay there again if we have occasion to do so.
