everything was fabulous! lovely enclosed garden for my labradoodle, kids slept well as did I. Wendy was friendly and although we didnt get a chance to meet the place was very well presented. We also had lovely bottle of Lmbrino and some mince pies. Would absolutely LOVE to stay there again.
This was a really peaceful place to stay, well placed for walks around the Ercall and Wrekin. There were two secure outdoor areas making it dog friendly. The cottage itself was very cosy and the kitchen had everything you need to make proper meals. I recommend getting some fresh eggs from the host's son for a tasty breakfast.
We have been before and loved it so came back.. very comfortable and a lovely selection of goodies to greet us, including wine and chocs! Very quiet and in some gorgeous countryside. Would really recommend as a great place to base yourself while exploring Shropshire.
Had a fabulous 5 days at the cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable and warm. Very close to local sights such as Ironbridge and Buildwas Abbey with lots of beautiful hiking in the area.
The cottage was so lovely, everything we needed there. Fantastic location at the base of the Wrekin . Loads of lovely pubs near by . We had 4 pointers with us , they absolutely loved their holiday too . Definitely will book this cottage again when we are up that way . Thankyou
Lovely warm and welcoming property. Great location with some good walks in the woods right next to the property. Fantastic communication with the owner, who even came round personally to inform us of a local power cut. Buy their eggs, they were delicious. Lovely touch of some welcome wine and biscuits as well. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Buckatree cottage is a great place to relax and enjoy a delightful outlook onto Shropshires countryside. Well situated, giving you plenty of choices to get out and visit the many places of interest. The cottage is well equipped for a family and pets. My wife and I have just enjoyed a really great three days there and found it exceptional. Our host Wendy was there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The chocolates and wine were a nice surprise on our arrival and we would like this chance to say a big thank you. Our two dachshunds soon settled in and loved the great walks near the property, for example the Ercall and Wrekin. We would recommend this stay to friends and family.
Kleines Haus mit allem was man benötigt, sehr sauber und ruhige Lage. Wanderungen sind direkt ab dem Haus möglich, so dass man sein Auto auch mal stehen lassen kann.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property, it was exactly what we wanted. I never go back to the same place twice but would realy consider staying here again. Would absolutely recommend.
A lovely cottage which felt very safe and Covid secure. A warm welcome with lovely welcome goodies from the owner. Lovely quiet position in the midst of the glorious Shropshire countryside. We all look forward to returning for another visit.
Excellent stay, our whole family was comfortable here and Wendy was really helpful and friendly. The house itself was beautifully presented, as the title says, the photos don't really do it justice. Everything you could need facilities wise was already there as well as a couple of lovely extra touches included such as bread and wine waiting for us. We wish we'd stayed a bit longer and will definitely be back if we need to stay in the area again!
Visiting Telford for the weekend mainly to attend Scalemodel world at the T.I.C. So was looking for a property at reasonable price & easy access to the show & this cottage seemed to fit the bill. On arrival we found the cottage to exceed our expectations. Full of character with excellent shower & modern kitchen. The welcome pack was a nice touch & much appreciated after our journey from N.Devon. This is an area we keep meaning to come back to for a longer visit & think we have found the place where we would like to stay & explore hopefully next summer.
I throughly enjoyed it, no faults at all. It was spotless, comfy, quiet country retreat, definitely stay there again. The photos don't give it justice, its larger than you think.
Well renovated property - pleasant and spacious - and Wendy (property manager) was very friendly and helpful. The location is also in a lovely country setting with easy access to Ironbridge and many other local attractions. Would happily book to stay there again.
