Rustic and cozy house in the village of Sabugueiro - Serra da Estrela

Typical mountain house, able to accommodate up to 10 people, right in the center of the highest village of Portugal, offers all the necessary conditions to make your stay in Serra da Estrela an unforgettable experience.
Wake up to the sound of the village bell, which since centuries past wakes up all the inhabitants of the village and their animals, namely the goats and sheep that will soon leave for the mountains. They will pass right in front of the house, either to cool off in the existing fountain, or to take root in the pastures of the mountains around the village, so prepare the camera, is unforgettable.
Talk to people, get to know all the village's alleys and landscapes, walk the hills and hike, take a bath in the limpid river pools or throw snowballs and ski / snowboard.
Sit at the table, eat the world famous Serra da Estrela cheese, rye bread, local sausages and go with the Dão wine, after all is your territory.
We do not have wifi or cable tv (only 4 channels), we privilege human contact and nature, and I guarantee you will not regret it.
Have a lot of fun, enjoy well, it's on the roof of Portugal.

In the moutains between the goats

Estadia bastante agradável no geral, a casa era espaçosa e bastante confortável, mesmo com 4 adultos 3 crianças e 1 bebé. Nas fotos parece mais pequena, tinha bom aquecimento, cozinha com todos os acessorios. Tivemos algumas questões a tratar mas fomos sempre acolhidosExperiência a repetir.

Semana de férias na serra

A estadia foi impecável. O alojamento tem tudo o que é necessário para passar uns dias longe da dita civilização. A praia fluvial é excelente principalmente para quem tem crianças. O anfitrião esteve sempre em contacto para saber se estava tudo ok. Recomendo este alojamento.

muy buena experiencia

La casa es muy bonita y muy comoda. Tiene lo justo para pasar unos dias de vacaciones. Al estar justo en el centro del pueblo y la sala en planta baja a pié de calle, te relacionas mucho mas con los vecinos que pasan por delante cada dia y te dan conversación. Realmente és como estar en família!

Estar no Sabugueiro foi sem dúvida uma experiência fantástica! A aldeia tranquila com o seu ar puro, a água fresca e gente simpática, foi tudo o que precisávamos para recarregar baterias! Na casa do Repolão esperava-nos uma recepção acolhedora por parte da D. Patrícia, em que todas as dúvidas foram sempre esclarecidas com amabilidade e simpatia! Por parte do Sr. To Miguel encontramos um anfitrião muito prestável e preocupado com o nosso bem estar durante toda a estadia! Obrigada por tornarem a nossa visita ainda melhor!
