The large open plan living space on the ground floor has ample room for everyone, with crisp light décor with oak floors and doors giving that feel of the Victorian age of the terraced property. Sumptuous comfy sofas face towards the inviting gas wood burner the elegant dining table is the perfect place to entertain and enjoy conversation, or why not help with the preparation in the well-equipped kitchen? Upstairs there are three light and airy bedrooms, two doubles and a single with feature original fireplaces, and a family bathroom. Outside the front faces onto a private residential cul-de-sac with on road parking for each property, whilst the enclosed rear courtyard is a pleasant way to enjoy the last of the summer sunshine in the evening.
Nestled along the bay of Morecambe, enjoy a mile long and traffic free stroll along the promenade, or for nature lovers, there are many reserves that are dotted along this coastline where vast ranges of birds can be seen. For flora and fauna, a visit to the ornamental gardens in the town will not disappoint, as well as the many other parks and gardens that are worth a visit too. For walkers, neighbouring Hampsfield Fell on a clear day will provide an excellent viewpoint of Morecambe Bay, Old Man of Coniston, Helvellyn and the Langdales. For a fun day at the races, Cartmel has one of the smallest but picturesque courses in the country, and the steeple chase meetings are extremely popular, at other times the medieval priory and many tempting eateries in this village are worth exploring too. Beach 17½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
