I studied at Urbino, and lived shortly outside of Perugia 20 years ago ... now I do the same all over again at Postignano! I'm a Registered Psychologist with a passion for the outdoors and arts. When not working/studying I'm found in the hills on wheels or foot. Casa Rosa is quite definitely one of my favourite places to eat - so extremely happy to have it on my doorstep! Do book - they're busy. Nearby are so many wonderful places to visit, from innumerate hilltop villages perched on the side of the mountains to the larger more famous towns such as Spoleto, Todi, Perugia, Assisi and Spello. This area is little known yet cultural rich. The staff here at Postignano live in the village or nearby as such the feel is very much one of a Community - you'll see when if you visit. It's a very special place.

The care that has gone into restoring this property to meet the needs of today's life yet embracing its history is second to none. For over a thousand years this place has stood. No wonder these architects have won multiple awards. The village is boutique yet feels welcoming and lived in. Friendly and polite without stiffness those that live here are becoming true friends. It has been beautifully curated and continues to be beautifully cared for. It is hard to describe the sense of place in time and location. The uniqueness that is Castello di Postignano.
