Brand new high-quality lodge at 1000 meters between Norway's greatest national parks: Jotunheimen, Breheimen, Reinheimen. Perfect for skiing and trekking all year round. Prepared cross country tracks, high mountain trails, randonee skiing, or alpine slopes - all directly accessible from the cabin. Great for fishing in plenty of lakes and rivers.

1st floor: large living room with large fireplace, kitchen and dining room, master bedroom, guest bedroom (2 persons), bathroom with sauna.

Fabulous stylist cabin

We want to thank Willy and Anna for sharing their beautiful cabin. It is stylish, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed the cosiness of the house to relax, read a book and just view the mountains. From Grötli we were able to make beautiful hikes, cycling trips and drive the amazing scenic routes to Stryn and Geiranger. We thank Willy and Anna for their hospitality and kindness. Amazing cabin

Our whole family enjoyed a pleasant one-week stay at a luxurious mountain hut in a typical Norwegian style, with new and comfortable equipment in the breathtaking surrounding landscape. The cottage was excellently cleaned, communication with the owner was perfect. We recommend it.

Cabin de luxe

Beautiful cabin in a quiet and peacefull place with a marvellous view over the snovy peaks of the mountains of Breheimen Nationalpark . Nice hiking trails directly from Grotli ( Breheimen nationalpark , Strynfjellsvegen..) Close to The Geirangerfjord 45 minutes and the Jotunheimnationalpark . Our favorite hike was from the Breiddalen Valley to the Kaldhusservegen . The cabin is very cosy and comfortable with a big living room and a kitchen full of light . Nice TV and reading room on the first floor where you can relax or do some Yoga or pilates ( yogamat present) Excellent contact with the owner Willy Egset. Small Sauna also present , good matresses in the Bedrooms. The cabin was top clean . Nothing to criticise.

Wir haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub in dem Ferienhaus verbringen dürfen. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es ist lichtdurchflutet und man hat einen sehr schönen Ausblick vom Esstisch / Wohnzimmer bzw. der Terrasse auf die gegenüberliegenden schneebedeckten Gipfel. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet um sich selbst zu versorgen. Zudem ist das Haus sehr sauber. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Siedlung mit weiteren Ferien- bzw. Wochenendhäusern und ist über einen kleinen Schotterweg von der Rv15 problemlos zu erreichen. Für die Anreise, aber auch für Ausflüge wird ein Auto benötigt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in Donfoss (ca. 25 Minuten), Lom (ca. 50 Minuten) oder Stryn (ca. 55 Minuten) vorhanden. Das Haus liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig für verschiedene Ausflüge. Über die Rv15 kommt man sehr gut nach Nordwesten (Geiranger, Trollstigen, Alesund), nach Südwesten (Stryn, Nordfjord, Kjenndalsbreen) oder nach Osten (Lom, Reinheimen National Park oder Sognefjellsvegen). Direkt vor dem Grotlihotel beginnt zudem der wunderschöne Gamle Strynefjellsveg mit dem Videfossen am anderen Ende. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war super. Auf Fragen reagierte Herr Egset sehr schnell und er war sehr bemüht, uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Wir können das Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen für alle, die in herrlicher Natur einen ruhigen Urlaub genießen möchten. Wir werden gern wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub!

Wunderschöner Urlaub in Grotli!

Wir haben 2 Wochen Ende August in Grotli verbracht, es war ein toller Urlaub. Das Haus ist schön gelegen, bietet für jede Tageszeit eine sonnige Terasse, ist sehr gut und gemütlich ausgestattet. Das Haus ist für Erholung und Entspannung konzipiert und eingerichtet. Die Küche ist sehr geräumig, hat einen großen Esstisch, ausreichend Ablageflächen und Schränke, absolut alltagstauglich. Das Wohnzimmer mit Kamin ist bequem und gemütlich, durch die großen Fenster wie das gesamte Haus sehr hell, sozusagen die Wohlfühloase. Ein Auto ist notwendig, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten 20min (Grundbedarf) oder 40min (größeres Angebot) entfernt. Man kann direkt vom Haus aus zu wunderschönen Wanderungen starten, erschließt sich aber mit dem Auto wesentlich mehr Möglichkeiten. Wer nicht nur wandern möchte, findet speziell in Geiranger und Umgebung jede Menge anderer Möglichkeiten: Bootstouren, Kajakverleih, Motorbootverleih, Kletterpark u.s.w. Absolut zu empfehlen ist es z.B., mit dem Boot von Geiranger nach Skageflå zu fahren und von dort nach Geiranger zurück zu wandern: anstrengend, aber atemberaubend! Unser Sohn (15) ist leidenschaftlicher Angler und war viel an Seen und Flüssen zum Forellenangeln unterwegs. Die besten Fänge hat er aber doch am Geirangerfjord gemacht. Besten Dank noch an unseren Gastgeber Willy, der uns immer mit guten Tipps und Informationen versorgt hat. Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert!

The hut is nice with a great view to the snow covered hills. The location is not ideal for daytrips as it is far away from other highlights. At arrival beds were not made what one would expect with the price.

Wir haben eine erholsame Woche in diesem gemütlichen und geschmackvoll eingerichtetem Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Unterkunft ließ keine Wünsche offen, und die hochwertige Ausstattung entsprach genau der Beschreibung. In der traumhaften Umgebung gibt es viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter hat immer bestens funktioniert. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Hier stimmte alles

Das Haus liegt in Mitten der Hochebene Norwegens und ist bester Startpunkt für Wander- und Angeltouren. Diverse, ausgeschilderte Wanderwege sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und viele Flüsse und Seen auch fußläufig erreichbar. Es liegt ruhig und mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf die Berggipfel. Man braucht ein Auto für die Anreise und für den Einkauf von Lebensmitteln (nächster Supermarkt ca. 20 Minuten entfernt), wobei ein nahgelegenes Hotel, ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß über ein gutes Restaurant verfügt. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 45 Minuten am Geirangerfjord aber auch am Gletschermuseum. Den Gletscher selbst hatten wir nach ca. 2,5 Stunden Autofahrt erreicht. Das Haus war blitzsauber und ist sehr stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts, die Küche ist nicht nur groß sondern auch komplett ausgestattet, so dass man sich gut und bequem über mehrere Tage und Wochen verpflegen kann. Die Betten sind bequem und es wurde zudem ein Kinderbettchen zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Haus verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer mit Doppelstockbetten im oberen Teil des Hauses sowie über 2 Schlafzimmer im unteren Teil des Hauses (ein Doppelstock- und ein Doppelbett). Beide Etagen haben ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche und WC. Über eine Fußbodenheizung oder den Kamin im Wohnzimmer lässt sich die Temperatur gut regulieren. Beide Stockwerke sind auf Grund der großen Fenster lichtdurchflutet und bieten einen tollen Blick auf das Panorama, wobei stark abdunkelnde Gardinen auch in sehr hellen Nächten für Schlaf sorgen. Der Kontakt zu Willy Egset funktionierte reibungslos und immer schnell, er antwortete zuverlässig auf jede Frage und war um jedes Detail bemüht. Wir können die Unterkunft nur jedem empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
