A nice condo in a great neighborhood!

I wanted to be close to Greenbelt but I was worried about the neighborhood and the overall building condition. As it turned out, the unit was very nice and efficiently laid out and the building condition was fine. I loved the neighborhood because of the little stores and coffee shops around, not to mention restaurants galore. You did not have to walk far to find what you needed. Greenbelt was an easy 3-4 blocks away. The unit looked fairly new, bathroom was updated, the bed was comfortable and I loved the washer/dryer. I have a few negative comments which would be in the constructive criticism category. First of all, "staging" of the unit could be better. I'm in the hotel business so making sure the room is ready for an incoming guest is important. First, stacked chairs is not as welcoming; some dust and ants could have been avoided. The credenza was a little cluttered so a bit of "wire management" could have fixed all this. The first day I pestered Joan with questions on how to use the safe, washer/dryer (combo type) etc. The typical response was to ask Mia, who is probably a caretaker but I don't have a local phone so I could not call her. The other response was - directions on how to use the equipment are found in the drawers...it was but it was the actual installation/use manual! At the end, it all worked out but the bit of frustration could have been avoided by having clear "instructions for dummies" available. I did appreciate the call from Joan to see if everything was ok but a call earlier would have been better. Picky guest.
