Probably one of the best places that I have booked. Everything about it was just lovely. We were sad to leave. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Stonehaven, to look for #7 you will not be disappointed.The Seaview was incredible.

Views of the North Sea and harbour from our windows. Very clean with all the comforts of home. Excellent and attentive host. Could benefit from privacy screen in kitchen window where people walk by along the coast boardwalk just a few feet away. We had everything we needed to cook meals. There is a great sense of community and relaxation in the area. We found many great restaurants open at 10am with our favourite being the Stonehaven Golf Club. Bus and train options to Aberdeen where we did a Rabbi tour to Loch Ness and south to Dundee for the RSS Discovery and HMS Unicorn ship. I was able to find my great grandfather’s grave in the Dundee Western Cemetery. A wonderful restful and comfortable 2 week holiday.

We're lucky to have good public transport links, making this a perfect spot if you don't have a car. You can of course have an excellent holiday just staying local with everything on your doorstep that you don't have to venture far. Best of all, you don't even have to step outside to enjoy the views—the large living room windows and separate kitchen-diner are perfect for spending hours watching the ever-changing sea. Super Holiday Stay

A 5 Star stay at this apartment. Everything was fabulous from the sea views to the warm and cosy rooms, beautifully decorated throughout, fabulous kitchen, comfortable beds and linens and two bathrooms!

The apartment was perfectly positioned so that we could watch the sunrise every morning whilst having our morning cuppa. It was spotlessly clean, with so many little extras that we didnt expect, making the visit feel much more personal. The check in, parking and general information provided was spot on. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

What an excellent choice this was for my wife and I! Such a lovely, interesting town with good restaurants, and a castle and dramatic golf within walking distance! Frances went overboard with welcoming gifts and fast communication.

Excellent accommodation

We had a lovely week here. The accommodation is exactly as described - surprisingly spacious and perfectly clean! Location on the seafront is stunning and lots of lovely inns / pubs / restaurants nearby Communication from owner was first class An excellent choice - highly recommended.

Haven in Stonehaven

Wonderful apartment, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Many lovely treats , biscuits, chocolates etc greeted us on our arrival. Perfect location , close to the shops but the views of the ocean right at the windows.

Just the place we were looking for

We were were in need of a break away somewhere with great views and lovely walks. We certainly found it here. The apartment was fantastic, with the views of the sea we loved. All the little extra made it even more special.

Beach views were wonderful! We were very lucky with the weather and even got some time to put out feet in the Sea. Frances met us at the door, helped with luggage and turning the car around in the narrow road and checked in to ensure we had a wonderful time and everything we needed. So may snacks were left!We found free parking each evening and the Co-op just down the lane had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here if you can, we hope to again next visit!

Pure perfection

The manager of this property could lead a Masterclass in hospitality. Every detail about our stay was perfect, and the little touches around the place were amazing. Stonehaven is a great location, and having a place like this to stay makes it worth recommending and worth going back to again and again.

Peaceful seaside location

Top class accommodation. Would work with two couples as well as a family as there are two bathrooms.The local shops are very good.The owner left an extremely generous welcome pack. Outstanding views from kichen and lounge.

Pretty sure Stonehaven is Heaven on earth. The property is a wonderful place to stay. Francis is the best host and made us feel at home with all of the extra’s. I would give it an 11 out of 10!

A wonderful winter break

The apartment was exceptionally clean, comfortable, convenient and Frances made sure we had everything we needed. The unexpected gifts were particularly welcome. Bars and restaurants were all good and there were plenty of walking opportunities so we didn’t need a car. Thank you Frances for making our stay special

We stayed here for a short break Thursday to Monday for the GB Ice swimming championships, from start to departure the host communication was 2nd to none. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find a lovely welcome pack which was appreciated as we arrived late evening. The apartment is tastefully furnished and decorated, comfortable beds and sofas, recommendations of local businesses, the lust is endless. Ample toiletries, dish washer tablets etc etc we didn’t need to purchase anything. The location showcases beautiful views of the sea and beach, 5 mins walk to town and eateries. When I return I would love to stay at this property again!!

What a super and beautiful apartment. Views from living room and kitchen were fabulous. Very clean, location excellent. Lovely complimentary items left for our group to enjoy over the weekend. Frances sent us lots of information on places to eat and places to visit. One of the best apartments we have visited. Definitely 5 stars

Absolutely fabulous

Really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment overlooking the beach, so peaceful with a fantastic view. All the little extras that Frances left were much appreciated, a lovely touch! Correspondence was brilliant and very precise with lots of information on local things to do and where to eat. We would definitely recommend this absolutely stunning apartment.

Wonderfull stoney

This was my wife,s and i first visit to stonehaven and it certainly won,t be the last Lovely town full of character and history ,great resturants wonderfull walks and frances,s flat right on the beach was stunning would recommend highly to anyone looking for a lovely break

Perfect place to relax and unwind

We stayed here over new year and had a fantastic time the fireballs on New Year’s Eve were amazing, as were the fireworks The flat is spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you need The views are stunning and the surrounding area is beautiful for walks Frances is a great host and has everything well organised she provided us with lovely treats which added a special touch to our stay. This will be one of the most memorable New Years we have had, we won’t forget our most enjoyable stay in Stonehaven.
