Ground Floor

The apartment is nice and clean. There are 2 issues. The main issue is that even though officially apartment is on the second floor, the windows face the courtyard and the courtyard is elevated. The grounds of the courtyard are almost on the same level as the windows. The bottom of the windows is may be 12 inches above the ground. The courtyard is closed, but it is not comfortable to sleep with the windows open. There are electrically operated shutters, but we only felt comfortable to sleep with closed shutters, which does not allow a lot of air getting in the apartment. It was not too hot at the end of May, but I can imaging it may get very warm in summer. It was a big issue for us, not sure why it is not mentioned in the description of the property. We will not be staying there again. The second issue – I would suggest to fix the toilet cover. Also, the TV is very small and it does not have any channels. You can only watch DVDs on it.
