Perfect Break

The house is lovely and very comfortable and in a perfect part of Deauville - walking distance to the shops, the centre and the beach. Despite being so central, it was very quiet and peaceful and private. It is worth checking ahead that the family are not coming to stay in the main house to ensure perfect privacy.

This is a great two story house to rent! The downstairs living area is much bigger in person that the photos show. The kitchen has everything you need. There is a washing and drying machine. The patio has an umbrella and there is a BBQ and a grass area. Parking is easy on the property and there is a gate to lock into. Upstairs offers 3 bedrooms with a lot of space. Two bathrooms have tub/showers but no shower only option. The location is fabulous. The house is in town so it is easy to walk to everything. The beach and boardwalk is around the corner. The WiFi worked great. There is no cable TV, only French language shows. The value for this house is amazing. The house manager, Nathalia, was very nice and helpful.

Great location and house

The house and Deauville lived up to our expectations and we were not disappointed. I was notified prior to our arrival of the cleaning/linen charges for our stay, so was no surprise. Nathalie was very nice and communicated well with us before and during our visit. We would stay here again for sure!

A comfortable, clean property. A lovely welcome hamper was provided. Position in the centre of Deauville was very good. Host gave us a lot of information verbally when we arrived (some of which we forgot) and an information pack on the house (including recycling protocols) would have been helpful. Also information on recommended restaurants/walks etc.

Perfectly located, pretty house.

We have walked past this pretty house so often without realising it is available to rent! The location, as everyone mentions, is perfect, with the added bonus of private car parking, such a bonus in Deauville. Nathalie, who manages the house is delightful and very kind. We are planning an Autumn return. Very highly recommended.

Hidden charges

Property was impressive overall in a good location that was handy for everything. The contact Nathalie who met us there was friendly and tried her very best to help us. I got the impression she was not given any support from the owner to maintain the property and a number of items were needing decoration, repaired or replaced The grass had not been cut or looked after in the garden. Garden furniture was dirty or broken or both and the parasol had to be replaced with the property manager’s own parasol. On top of that we were advised of a €165 charge for cleaning and linen not mentioned on the VRBO site. Instead of admitting her error the owner left it up to the manager to communicate back and forth with us instead of waiving the charge. It took from our 2nd day until our last day there before the owner gave in to pressure from us and Vrbo and waived the charge It was handled with very poor grace and felt sorry for Nathalie the manager who had to act as the go between.

A super house in a great location.

I stayed here 9 years ago when the house was just refurbished and online as a rental home. We finally made it back this Year, the first week in September. The location is sensational, near all supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and a 10 min walk to the beach. The contact with the owner and Nathalie who looks after the house was amazing! All my emails were answered and she was super friendly and helpful. She contacted me prior to tell me the water heating wasn't working so the first day we had no hot but she got it smartly fixed,even on the tail end of the holidays! And we were comped a night for the inconvenience! All in all an excellent service. The house has seen some wear and tear since I was last there and a minor facelift is needed in some areas but I can definitely recommend this house! Note; there is little to none space to hang clothes! That doesn't bother me but wardrobes are not built in. 9 yrs ago we were 4 adults and a 6mth old and ample space. This time round 2 adults and a 9yr old, equally so. 4 adults, 2 kids I'd say is maximum! Everything super clean, towel and linen service is extra payable cash when leaving. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer all in the kitchen. We'll be back and hopefully won't fake 9 years!!

Stilvolle ruhige Unterkunft im Herzen von Deauville

Wir haben Anfang August als Familie eine sehr schöne Woche hier verbracht. Das Ferienhaus liegt im rückwärtigen Grundstücksbereich und ist durch das Vorderhaus von der Strasse geschützt. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es eine Parkmöglichkeit für 2 Autos. Die Lage ist super, in 2 Minuten ist man an der Strandpromenade und am tollen Sandstrand. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es fußläufig. Das Objekt ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll modern, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Wir haben keine Kritikpunkte.

2ème belle expérience

Nous avions passé un séjour d'été il y a 10 ans et nous avons retrouvé l'ambiance qui nous avait plu ; une cuisine ouverte très spacieuse, une déco simple et fonctionnelle, une excellente situation au centre de deauville tout en étant au calme. Un jardin pour se reposer et manger et garer 2 voitures. Notre interlocuteur était à l'écoute. Les photos sont tout à fait réalistes.

Sehr gut und gehoben ausgestattetes Haus im Zentrum von Deauville mit eigenem Parkplatz.

Das Haus liegt zentral in Deauville und nah zum Strand. Alle notwendigen Geschäfte sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Haus verfügt über einen kleinen Garten und eigenen Parkplatz, was bei insgesamt wenig Parkmöglichkeiten in Deauville perfekt ist. Die Ausstattung ist umfänglich und hochwertig, altersbedingte, kleinere Mängel sind aber bereits vorhanden. Wir haben uns in dem Haus und in Deauville sehr wohl gefühlt und können es weiterempfehlen.

THE best location in Deauville

Séjour très agréable.
