Spencer Mountain Cabin, hiking, biking, skiing, swimming, fishing

Spencer Mountain Cabin is only 4.7 miles from Whitefish, and 15-20 minutes from the Big Mountain Ski Resort,and 45 minutes from West Glacier Park.Our newly built cabin ideally located offers miles and miles of mountain biking and hiking terrain: simply cross the street. Sitting on 4.5 fenced acres we have made accommodations comfortable for horses too. In the winter enjoy dog sledding, back country skiing, XC skiing, snow biking, the amenities of down town Whitefish and of course the Big Mountain Ski Hill all are just minutes away. Summer offers fishing, swimming, river floating, hiking, biking, kayaking, horse back riding and so much more. The restaurants are plenty, shopping in town for all tastes, Spas with so much to offer, and really cool people to meet.

Our cozy cabin sleeps 8 people comfortably. Open kitchen, fireplace, loft, covered wrap around porch, full basement with games and sitting area, outdoor shower, screened in porch and outdoor fire pit. The open floor plan allows for simple living, easy entertaining, and peaceful serenity. This is not a child safe house - minimum age is 10 y.o.

We even have amenities for your horse: 3 acres of pasture, paddocks and shelter, water and electricity. Please inquire with us to reserve that space.

The main floor Master bedroom has a queen bed, walk in closet, private bathroom with stand alone comfy bath tub, shower, and heated floor.

The loft has two full size beds and cubbies for your luggage. The 1/2 bath on the main floor is perfect for the loft guests.

The daylight basement has one large bedroom with a queen size bed and a bunk with a full, a twin, and a trundle. A full bath with tub/shower and heated floor. Perfect for a family!

The kitchen is stocked, you only need to provide your own food. Gas stove, microwave, oven, refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, and dish washer. The large kitchen island seats 5-6, and there is a 2 seat kitchen table/puzzle table adjacent to the island. There are also various seating options in the living room and on the porch.

Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and main floor living room.

Do not open the garage door Nov-April. It is stuffed with insulation. In warm weather be sure to close it in the heat of the day
The fireplace is wood burning. Be mindful of warming the flue before lighting the fire to draw the smoke up so you don't set off the alarms.
