We were in DC for the purpose of moving our daughter and her new husband. Freddie's house was the perfect location as it was three blocks from the apartment where we would be spending all our time. Our morning "commute" took us past the lovely La Colombe coffee shop and a great grocery store. It was a wonderful way to begin our day.
As space is at a premium in DC you won't find a lot of extra room in a row house. But at Freddie's you will get an exceptional experience with the towels, sheets and bed. These items happen to be high on our list of must haves and if you are similar in taste he does not disappoint. An extra refrigerator and three bathrooms also make for fine appointments.
Freddie had Metro passes for us and the nearest station is just behind his home. It takes less than 2 minutes to walk there! And his living room is full of great maps to enjoy. Freddie is there during the day so you are able to get information from him if needed.
Our only worry was that we did not get access information until the day of our arrival. It ended up causing no trouble and was simple. We would have liked to have that information before we boarded our plane at MSP.
Freddie was communicative, accommodating and very respectful of privacy. Great place to stay and safe, convenient location.

Close to metro!
Freddie was a gracious and accommodating host. His home is close to a metro stop which was one our primary goals. The area looks to be up and coming and there is a Trader Joe’s nearby which is helpful.
