We had a fab holiday at Broom House.

We had a fab holiday at Broom House. Incredibly clean, the house is very comfortable and warm. The house is situated in a quiet location close to amenities. The back garden was enclosed and safe for our little dogs who also enjoyed being so close to Peasholm park and had long walks along the front. We hope to return at some point, thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Broom House, excellent location, the house was very clean, had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Nice to have the Christmas decorations up. Would highly recommend. Thank you

Beautiful house in a great location right opposite the top entrance to Peasholm park.

Beautiful house in a great location right opposite the top entrance to Peasholm park. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds & well equipped for self catering. We were a party of 6 adults and two dogs and it met our needs very well. Only suggested improvement would be to make the back garden dog secure. Overall, highly recommended.

We had a great week in Broom House; it is a spacious and well equipped property in a great location, just a short walk away from Peasholm park and the North bay beach. The property is let down by there only being one shower (in the en suite of the master bedroom) which is not a power shower and hence the water pressure is so poor it is practically unusable. A lot of other reviewers have mentioned this before so I do hope the owners take notice and fit at least one decent shower (two would be preferable as it sleeps 6 people) for future visitors.

We loved Broom House and would love to give it 10/10 for everything but their were a couple of thing

We loved Broom House and would love to give it 10/10 for everything but their were a couple of things that prevent us from doing so. There is only one shower in the en suite and this is not very powerful - we were a party of 5 adults so 2 showers would have been much better. There was a bath in the other bathroom so we managed. There is no lock on the bathroom door upstairs and the door would sometimes open when it was occupied! We have a small dog and she would have been able to get under the gate at the front as there was a gap but we kept an eye on her so wasn't too much of a problem. This did not spoil our holiday at all and is only a couple of points we felt we should mention. This is a fabulous cottage in a stunning location - very spacious and well equipped. It has a fantastic garden and sitting out area. It was great to be overlooking the park and we walked there most days. We will definitely book again and would recommend to everyone. Sue and Bob

Very spacious house with three large bedrooms and a large living area and dining room.

Very spacious house with three large bedrooms and a large living area and dining room. Kitchen was well equipped. The property is situated immediately opposite an entrance to Peasholm Park which is fabulous for short walks and the boat pond. It is only a 10 minute walk to North Bay beach and also walking distance to the water park. There is a driveway for parking. We had a lovely time with our two children.

Had a fantastic time loads of room for 6 adults and 2 dogs. Only small issue was just one shower between 6 adults but there were 2 baths and 3 toilets so plenty to cope. Will defo be going there again

An absolutely fantastic house and garden in a brilliant area! Really well equipped, very clean and beautiful furnished - we all said we would like to buy it!! Only small catch was no blackout curtains in the bedrooms so our toddler was up at 5am each day! Yikes! Only a 10 min walk to the beach, opposite a beautiful park and not a long drive to Filey and Whitby. We all absolutely loved it.

We had a wonderful holiday, the house was great & fully equipped.

We had a wonderful holiday, the house was great & fully equipped. The only downside is there is only one shower which needs replacing. The house is situated half way up a very steep hill but there is a pay & display car park at the bottom of the road. The beach was amazing and great for families & dogs. It is in a good location and we would definitely re-book.

What a lovely family break we all had staying at Broom House.

What a lovely family break we all had staying at Broom House. Spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped house in a perfect location. More than enough room for 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. We walked in Peasholm Park everyday, it is just across the road. We went to The North Beach, North Bay Railway, Sealife which are all in easy walking distance. We caught the local bus to the South Bay and the miniature train to Scalby both aprx 10min ride. We would definitely recommend and hopefully return to Broom House.
