Architect-designed spacious apartment

If you appreciate design, you will be delighted with this custom-designed apartment where every detail has been considered. We loved the minimal design, high-asethetic blond wood cabinetry and luxurious closet space. Even the practical, yet elegant, wooden furniture is a project of an accomplished architectural firm that maintains an office in the same building. We stayed 3 weeks and, though the kitchen is small, it is well thought-out, very well equipped and completely workable. The surprise for us was that we could step directly out into the garden (with a reflecting pool) and experience tranquility right in the center of an active tourist area. Fortunately, the apartment has very good acoustic control. We couldn't have been more pleased with this stay. Pedro + Alice make a gracious host team and were very responsive and helpful with tips about local goings-on. We would definitely stay here again.

100% Recommend.

This was everyone's favorite apartment we stayed during our trip. The host was super friendly and accommodating during check-in when we had to move our check-in time back.Pros: * Spacious, beautiful, well-designed flat with private outdoor space and plenty of space to spread out and relax inside as well. * Loved the provided blankets to curl up with on the couch. *The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. *Location was prime with lots of fantastic dining choices just a few steps away. *Pillows were plentiful and awesome. *There is a manderin tree just outside that we were told we could pick from- the boys LOVED this. Cons: The big one for us was that check-in required meeting with the host and getting an actual key. While the host was lovely, it did mean I was stressed about being late to check-in. This might not be a con for some, but I much prefer a lockbox with a key or a keypad to get into a place. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and informed.
