Reeth is just over a mile away and a pleasant walk, the village has two village stores, selection of tea rooms, pubs, restaurant and gift shops. Further attractions can be found in the market towns of Leyburn, 8 miles, set around a market square with an array of eclectic shops, award winning delicatessen and wine merchant. Historic Richmond is a short drive away and famous for its Norman castle, Victorian theatre and beautiful riverside walks. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Disappointment
No one met us on arrival. The house was not clean, male underwear behind a cushion on the couch whose cushions have not been moved and vacuumed for a long time, the house was freezing when we arrived. We could not get in until 5pm and had to leave before 9am. The ensuite shower does not work. We had 2 tea towels and no cleaning cloths. No facecloths. No face to face communication. I was told if I needed anything to buy it and be reimbursed I could write a book☹️ I have used Vrbo for many years and this is the worst by far.
