Perfect for a 4 person family holiday, this apartment has the conditions and location to make you feel happy immediately after you arrive. The entire apartment has direct access to the 60 m2. patio, that lies just beside the pool and garden of the condominium. If this was not good enough, the sandy beach of Agudela, one of the nicest Porto area beaches, is just literally at the door step. You can leave the car all week in the spacious garage and enjoy going to the beach, or the pool, all in 50 meters of your living area. The enormous terrace already mentioned, is ideal for barbecuing or just enjoying the sun in your private balcony. If you decide to leave the house, there are kilometres of walking promenades implanted in the protected dune park that is situated just 50 m. from the apartment. This giant walking/cycling area built in wood, stretches for more than 10 km. on the dunes, covering almost all Matosinhos county coast. Matosinhos is also world famous for is restaurant area, and is home to some of the biggest shopping in Portugal and Europe. This means you can visit hundreds of shops in one day. The airport is 5 km. form the house. There is a huge offer of cafés and pastries, esplanade’s and beach restaurants in the “barrio” where the apartment is situated. If you are looking for a relaxing, yet “connected” and active time, being in winter or summer, this apartment is perfect for refilling your batteries and making you leave with a sense of “I wouldn’t mind spending my life living here…” Come and experience it…

A beautiful apartment

Had a really relaxing holiday in this apartment. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with a long veranda and access to the swimming pool. The apartment is very close to a supermarket. The beach is across the road and there are miles of walks in both directions along the coastline. There are many fine restaurants along these routes.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location

We stayed a week in the apartment and it was as lovely as the pictures! It is in a very good and quiet location within walking distance of lots of great spots to eat and sight see. Thank-you for a great stay!

Sauber, Gemütlich und Strandnähe

Wir haben die Zeit in Lavra sehr genossen. Hier kann man wunderbar entspannen und die Ruhe genießen. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar und auch eine Bushaltestelle ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Von dort aus kann man Porto gut erreichen. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tout d'abord, l'acommpagnement et l'accueil du propriétaire est parfait. L'appartement fut une belle surprise, il est plus beau que sur les photos. Il est situé a 15min chrono de l'aéroport et à 50 metres d'une plage magnifique. Appartement avec tous confort. Bref, parfait !!!

Perfect holiday rental

We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Hélder! The apartment was in excellent condition, very well equipped and the location was great - near the ocean and not too far from Porto at the same time (with the convenient bus transportation possibilities). The owner was very friendly and helpful, making our stay really comfortable. We highly recommend this property to everyone.

Ein kleines Stück vom Paradies

Wir waren zu 4t da. 3 Wochen durften wir unseren Traumurlaub genießen. Die Wohnung sieht genau wie auf den Bildern aus. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Genug Schränke für Kleidung. Sehr viele Handtücher sind vorhanden. Der Pool vor der Nase. Das Meer nur einen Katzensprung weit weg. Einkaufen, essen gehen alles geht auch zu Fuß. Das Auto stand sicher in der Tiefgarage, die allerdings nur für kleine Autos (max kleiner kombi) geeignet ist. Wir waren alle super zufrieden vor allem auch mit der Gastfreundschaft in diesem schönen Land. Nette Nachbarn und eine gute Betreuung. Wir kommen wieder das steht fest! !!!!

L'appartement est situé très proche de la mer, loin de la confusion urbaine, avec tout de même un accès rapide à la ville (une voiture est indispensable ) Le propriétaire nous a réservé un très bon accueil et toujours disponible. Dommage que le ciel était capricieux...

A great place for your Porto visit !

A nice place to relax on the beach and visit Porto as well as other interesting towns, and villages nearby e.g. Guimaraes, Braga. There are not many tourists in this area and it is a quiet residential place, however there are some nice bars and restaurants along the beach so you can find easily a place to eat out. It is also a perfect place to go jogging, walking and cycling as there kilometers of wooden pavements along the dunes and separate cycle lanes. The apartment itself is big and very well equipped. There is also a nice swimming pool that you can access directly from the patio belonging to the apartment (but the water was quite cold). The owner is very hospitable and helpful. The only thing we did not like was the view of a refinery on the way to Porto. We would also change some things on the huge patio to make it a cosier place.

The property has a very high level!

The appartment is very well equiped. The reception by the owner is very sympathic and usefull.The surroundings are quit and the access to the beach is nearby. A point of attention is the maintenance of the cealings above the balcony. There ie some repear work to do..

Belle appartement conforme aux photos situé dans une résidence familiale prés d'un port important Matosinhos, de Porto et de la station balnéaire de Povoa do Varzim. Commerce à proximité et belle et longue promenade en bord de mer. La fraîcheur, les vagues de l'Atlantique sont au rendez-vous. Helder est à l'écoute et très disponible . Si vous chercher le calme et peu d'agitation : endroit idéal

Overall great stay!!

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 3 young children, and have nothing but good things to report. Beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment, with very close proximity to the city of Porto and the beach. Very convenient location....our boys loved being able to walk to the beach, and we enjoyed walking along the boardwalk as well. Helder was very accommodating to our late arrival and early departure, as well as informative of places to go in the area. We would recommend this location to others and we'd stay there again for future visits!

nice stay for a relaxed holiday

We (couples) stayed for one week in this appartement. It is a pretty modern comfortable place to stay. Although the airport is really close the flight arrivals and departures aren't that noisy. The two bed rooms have both an own bathroom and share the terrace. The pool is big but unfortunately really cold. The beach is just 20 meters away. The city is really quiet, so if you like to go out for the night you might take the bus to Porto (there is a bus station just around the appartement - bus takes about 50 minutes). The renter was really friendly and easily available if we had any questions. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to come back to Portugal once again.

Une location fortement recommandée

La location de Mr Helder Ribeiro est très bien située pour rayonner tout autour de Porto et notamment au nord. A moins d'une heure de route (un très bon réseau autoroutier), nous avons pu visiter : Ponte de lima ,Viana del Castello, Amarante, Bragga, Coimbra, la vallée du Douro, Aveiro, Guimares (1h20) ,et bien sûr Porto à coté. La résidence est à 2 minutes à pied du front de mer , avec une immense promenade sur des passerelles en bois ou alors sur la plage les pieds dans l'eau. De nombreux restaurants de plage avec terasse donnant sur la mer et des tarifs très peu élevés. L'appartement est récent, très fonctionnel et spacieux avec 2 salle de bains. Les 2 chambres à coucher donnent accès sur une terrasse par des portes fenêtres. La terrasse est équipées d'une table à manger ,de 2 chaises et d'un banc en bois, ainsi que de 2 chaises longues. Et la terrasse (orientée nord donc à l'ombre à partir de 14h) donne accès à la piscine qui est très bien faite.C'est un endroit idéal pour profiter de la piscine avec des enfantscar ils sont toujours à moins de 2 m, et la piscine est réservée aux résidnts (dans notre cas nous étions au maximum 2 familles dans l'eau).

Great

We were in Porto to attend a wedding and did not want to stay down town with our family. Pure luck guided us to Masosinthos/Lavra and we found authentic portugese life style. The appartement was great, the location was very nice (imidiate access to the beach), and in the afternoons we gatherered around the pool with the friendly neighbours. The owner was accommadating and highly service minded. To summarize: Great. We recommend! : ) The Vesterøy-Marthinussen family
