The Chalet is 100 sq m and has 2 double bedrooms, (one with an additional single bed), and 1 twin bedroom with additional bunk beds, 2 bathrooms one upstairs and one downstairs, large private sauna, open plan living/dining and kitchen area. It is heated by a central gas fired feature log effect fire, which keeps the chalet incredibly warm, with under-floor heating in both bathrooms and additional heaters in the Bedrooms.

Our Chalet offers excellent luxury accommodation with a large balcony accessible from two bedrooms, extended south and east facing terraces, Panorama Glazing and garden area.

The chalet is stylishly furnished and decorated to a high standard and very well equipped. The chalet is strictly No Smoking and sorry but Pets are not allowed. Please be aware that there are steep steps leading down to the Chalet .

The ski area is a short 10/15 minute drive away on snow free roads. You can park within a few yards of the Gondola, no more trudging around in uncomfortable ski boots! You can also take the local train from the village direct to the ski area.

Chalet Edelweiss is equipped with all the facilities that you are likely to need throughout your holiday.

Good location for hiking, biking and enjoying the region, which we love.The chalet is nice, relatively private considering it’s in a chalet village and close to the next one, it does not have sun in the evening and the view is mostly on the pretty garden and the trees beyond. You can hear the river nearby.

Two-week workation

We have spend two lovely weeks in this cozy cottage. It has all amenities you can wish to have (Jacuzzi, Sauna, Fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor furniture etc.) and the host is very nice and reacts very quickly. And also the internet connection is very fast and reliable (works perfectly for online meetings). From the place itself Stadl is a little bit far from everything: a bigger supermarket or the pharmacy are 15 min away by car, the cable car to Kreischberg was closed so for trips into the mountains we also had to drive 30 min.

Prepare to be spoilt!

Wonderful setting and outstanding scenery to wake up to. Fantastic owners Mark and Debbie to communicate with. The chalet was immaculate and very cosy, by far the most stunning chalet we have ever stayed in. Lots of home comforts including Marks and Spencer fleece blankets and cushions, Next kitchenware, the most amazing array of DVDs for both adults and children, painting sets, games and books to suit the whole family. The children loved the jacuzzi and sauna. A beautiful swimming lake at the bottom of the hill, with volley ball area and tennis courts. Be warned though the tennis prices are expensive. We took our bikes with us and found some amazing routes along the river, popping in and out of villages we would never of visited in the car. There are some great local hotels and restaurants to eat in, plus a small supermarket, bank and bakery in the village. Very friendly locals who gave us mushrooms they had picked from the mountains, and even cooking advice. Lovely lovely place, the only down side was was that we had to come home.

Wir waren bereits zum dritten Mal im wunderschönen Chalet Edelweiß in Paal. Es war wie immer wunderbar, es fehlt an nichts. Das Chalet ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, einfach zum wohlfühlen. Auch der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war wie immer sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank liebe Debbie für eine perfekte Urlaubswoche.

Alles wunderbar!

Dieses Chalet war wie ein zweites Zuhause, es hat allen (von Großeltern bis Kleinkind) sehr gut gefallen. Die Umgebung war zum spazieren super geeignet, aber auch der Kreischberg war sehr flott zu erreichen. Im Haus gibt es alles was man sich nur wünschen kann. Die Deko war der Hit. Es gibt keine Ecke ohne Hirsch. Wirklich witzig und stimmig eingerichtet. Wir können das Chalet nur empfehlen, auch die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und der Kontakt war top. Ich würde definitiv nochmal kommen und behalte mir diesen zauberhaften Ort im Gedächtnis!

Das Haus war toll. Leider wurde uns 1 Tag vor der Anreise mitgeteilt das der Aussenwhirlpool nicht funktioniert. Was uns sehr enttäuschte,da es der Hauptgrund für die Buchung! Was auch die kleine Rückerstattung nicht wieder gut machte

Zonnige vakantie in mooi chalet!

Chalet in een mooie omgeving, op helling en in Feriendorf van Stadl. Een mooie tuin met uitkijk op de bergen. Chalet was schoon en alles was aanwezig, echter de satelliet van de tv werkte niet. Heerlijk buiten gezeten op de vlonder en in de jacuzzi, die prima onderhouden werd. Je kan er heerlijk wandelen in de buurt.

Super schönes Haus

Das Haus und die Umgebung waren super. Die Kommunikation mit der Inhaberin ging schnell und problemlos. Wir würden immer wieder dorthin fahren. Empfehlenswert ist sich für schlechtes Wetter ein paar DVDs mitzunehmen. Dort gibt es nur englische und das Fernsehen hat leider nicht funktioniert bei uns.

Een mooi chalet op een fijne locatie

Wij hebben genoten van Chalet Edelweiss. Het chalet was erg goed uitgerust en de jacuzzi was een grote plus. De omgeving is lekker rustig, we hebben genoten van de prachtige tuin en het geluid van de vele vogels. Ik heb maar 1 verbeterpunt; het chalet stond erg vol met meubels en accessoires. Dat zou wat ons betreft iets minder mogen. Deborah is een fantastische gastvrouw, ze reageerde altijd erg snel op mijn vragen.

Einfach zum Wohlfühlen

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal da und haben unseren Aufenthalt wieder sehr genossen. Das Chalet Edelweiß ist ein wunderschönes, sauberes und gemütliches Häuschen, in dem es an nichts fehlt. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und die Sauna und Whirlpool sind nach einem Skitag einfach perfekt. Die Hausbesitzerin ist sehr bemüht und jederzeit erreichbar falls irgendetwas fehlen sollte. Wir waren zu Sechst mit vier Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern da und es ist genügend Platz für alle da. Wir werden auch nächstes Jahr wieder kommen:-)

Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen

Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, sehr gemütlich, sauber und von der Ausstattung her perfekt. Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Jacuzzi war ein besonderes Highlight, ebenso die Sauna. Bei Heizung mit dem Gaskamin war es immer schön warm. Ein Auto ist erforderlich, aber das war bei bei der Lage des Feriendorfes ja bekannt. Der Kreischberg ist gut und schnell zum Skifahren erreichbar.

Ein Haus zum wohlfühlen.

Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen. Es hat eine große, schöne Terrasse mit einem wundervollen Ausblick. Das Highlight ist der Whirlpool. Die Terrasse und der Whirlpool sind kaum einsehbar, so dass man sich richtig entspannen kann. Der Garten und die Blumendekoration sind wunderschön (am Schmetterlingsbaum flogen immer 20 -30 Schmetterlinge). Die Zimmeraufteilung ist super: unten gibt es den großen Gemeinschaftsraum und oben drei Zimmer als Rückzugsort. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wir haben sogar viele praktische Sachen vorgefunden, die gar nicht im Inserat beschrieben waren. Alles bestens! Die Gastgeber sind unheimlich nett und antworten sofort auf Anfragen. Technisch ist alles einwandfrei. Es funktioniert alles und ist gut in Schuss. Kühlschrank und Gefrierfach sind groß genug. Es gibt genügend Staumöglichkeiten für Lebensmittel. Die Betten sind gross und die Matratzen gut. Es gibt genügend große und saubere Handtücher. Die Sauna haben wir nicht genutzt. Die können wir nicht beurteilen. Sah aber groß und gemütlich aus. Der Whirlpool wurde in den zwei Wochen, die wir da waren dreimal (oder viermal) gewartet (Chlor, pH, Temperatur,…) Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Ein sehr schönes Haus, mehr als genug Platz für 6 Personen. Im Haus gibt es alles, was man braucht. Skigebiet und ein Lebensmittelgeschäft sind in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar. Alles in einem ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeberin Debbie

I live in Bedfordshire in the UK with my husband Mark and our daughter Hannah. Mark has been coming to Austria virtually every year to ski. He fell in love with the mountains and the great sense of wellbeing that you experience in the clean mountain air. We started coming to Austria as a family when our daughter Hannah was 3 and decided to buy a second home here which we could use for our own holidays for the winter and summer.

Why they chose this property

The summer in Austria is glorious and I was sold as soon as I saw the fields of meadow flowers when we came to look at the plot back in July 2007. By November the chalet was finished and I really enjoyed searching out the furnishings to make the chalet comfortable. The chalet has grown up with us as a family and I have really looked forward to adding to the garden every year. Our lovely cleaner Elli helps us to look after it and is responsible for the fantastic window boxes we have every year. Elli takes great pride in keeping our chalet looking beautiful and it is always spotless.

What makes this property unique

We’ve discovered a lot of the local area and have spent many happy hours walking in the mountains. There are lots of lovely walks and you can choose how challenging or how far you want to go. The best part is having a hot chocolate with rum when you get back in the winter or a local beer in the summer. There are lots of lovely places to visit from charming villages, numerous Lakes and of course the beautiful cities of Salzburg and Vienna. We have driven to lots of different places from the chalet including Venice, Lake Bled, Ljubljana and Lake Garda. The chalet is only about an hour from both Italy and Slovenia.
