About this property
Bright house overlooking the port close to the beach and the shops
This semi-detached very bright stone house overlooking the fishing port of Audierne is located a few steps from the beaches.
It is the ideal starting base to explore some exceptional sites such as the Pointe du Raz which is listed great national site, the Pointe du Van, the ornithological reserve of Goulien, the medieval city of Pont-Croix, the Douarnenez Bay and Locronan. Bigouden with its wild beaches is close.
Summer festivals are numerous: the Fest Noz, the Fête des Bruyères in Beuzec, the Contemporary Art and Classical Music Festival, etc.
Sports lovers will be delighted, surfers will find waves on the mythical spot of the Baie des Trépassés (Bay of the Dead) and hikers will enjoy the splendid panoramas of the coastline of Cap Sizun (GR 34) as well as the countryside paths.
You can go canoeing, sailing, fishing, mountain biking, etc. There is an aquatic centre “Aqua Cap” 3 km away and a playground for small children at the entrance of the port.
20 km away in Douarnenez, there are also many things to see. You can also enjoy a seawater pool and the Spa of Treboul.
The garden which is around 300 m² with wooden terrace surrounds the house on 3 sides. You can easily park your car along the property.
This place is really not busy and very quiet yet only 150 m from the port and the shops.

About the host
Hosted by Sylvie Enfer

I live and Haute-Savoie, in the middle of the countryside with my family.
We love the mountain but we also love the ocean and particularly the Finistère department! Especially Audierne, small village with which we fell in love!

Why they chose this property
The house is ideally located in an historical village. The garden is private and very well exposed. There are several alleys to go in the centre to have a drink, eat a crepe, etc.
The house is very pleasant and so well located that it is easy for you as for us to make the most of this wonderful region. Whether you want to rest, walk, swim, fish, visit, etc. there are many things to do!

What makes this property unique
It is a quiet district very close to the port of Audierne, the market, the covered markets, the shops and the restaurants.
Les Capucins Beach is 300 m and the very beautiful fine sandy Trescadec Beach is 800 m.
Everything is lit by night and it is pleasant to have a stroll through the quay and the footbridge of Les Capucins and go up an alley.
This small village is quite animated all year long and it is always pleasant to be close to the activity, to go to the market on Saturday morning, to have a stroll along Le Goyen River until Pont-Croix, to enjoy every moment, etc.
Being able to do everything on foot and not being isolated was a priority for us, who live in the countryside, when choosing this house.
