The property is nicely laid out and spacious, perfect for larger groups of families or friends. The location is one of the best in the Taupo township. Just 5 minutes walk to the main beach of Lake Taupo and downtown shops, bars and restaurant.
Note: This property includes all linen and exit clean.

Great house great location!

Had an awesome stay here for new years with a group of friends. The house is in a great location so close to town. Nice and quiet street. Couldn’t fault the place at all. Would definitely stay here again.

we had to ask for a second key supposed to be one in the property there was no iron - asked about this and one was delivered but by then it was the second last day the room with the split king bed was not made up as a king size bed but as 2 singles BBQ was disgusting - had not been cleaned for very long time. took 2 of 30 mins to clean it before we could use it cleaned it up after as much as we could but could not remove bottom plate rubbish instructions not clear lots lint on dryer

Taupo Lake & Mountains extravagansa

We booked for 8 adults and 4 kids. We only had 6 adults and kids for stay. Fabulous View of lake and mountains from Upstairs Lounge Facilities great, but second kitchen downstairs had no cutlery and minimum crockery. Upstairs shower had broken hose so could not shower. When contacted the owner promptly arranged supply of replacement which we fitted. We dont know how this was not picked up during routine clean of shower. Outside umbrella needs repair or replacing becouse it is no longer fit for purpose. Otherwise its a fantastic accomodation for 2-3 family groups with spacious facility, and great access to the lake only a short walk away. We watched the New Years Fireworks from balcony. It appeared so close. Great experience, We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Clayton.

Central location with good lake views

Extended family gathering for Christmas. 9 adults which did mean 2 were sleeping in bunk beds but it would have been hard to find a more appropriate place. Easy walk to town, lake, shopping, cafes and restaurants. Good space for parking. Well appointed laundry making a week long stay very easy. We swam most days and the swimming beach was close by. Big open grassy area at end of the street was great for running some steam off our dog. No fenced off area but that wasn’t an issue.

Great place / bad communication

Had to contact Bookabatch in order to get access to the house as no information was received from the host. When contacted host to report a broken shower hose, I was told there was a spare part available and then he suggested one of us could fix it the night before we were leaving. The house is great though, but I could write a list of recommendations for improvement.

great house great location bit cold

property was great , plenty of room and everything was clean tidy and as advertised. The heating was the only issue once we got the heat pumps working they really didn't heat the house at all. the central heating system in the house was not working so the 2 small heat pumps in living areas wasn't anyway near enough for cold Taupo nights.

Perfect 2 family getaway home

This house was amazing, lots of room, was great for two families, let us all enjoy everyone's company but have space at the same time, especially with having the kitchenette down steers. Also loved the fact town was only a couple of minutes walk Will book this again next year if available.

Great location. Walking distance to restaurant or short drive. It is such a big house for groups or families. We are allowed to have early check-in at 2pm which is perfect with our schedules. Easy communication with owner which is appreciated. We found stains on dishwashers and toilets, spiderwebs on windows. The floor in the kitchen is a bit sticky. If more cooking amenities could be provided, it will be great.
