We've stopped at the lodge before and have enjoyed our stay on both occasions.

We've stopped at the lodge before and have enjoyed our stay on both occasions. It's just a short distance from th A438 in the grounds of the owners house. Julie is friendly and welcoming, the lodge is very comfortable and well placed for travelling around.

This is such a lovely tranquil spot with great walks straight from the door.

This is such a lovely tranquil spot with great walks straight from the door. The accommodation has everything you want and is so clean and comfortable. Probably one of the best maintained places I have stayed. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful and is on hand if you need anything. I would 100% recommend a stay and I hope to go back soon.

Comfortable well equipped immaculately maintained accommodation.

Comfortable well equipped immaculately maintained accommodation.Excellent WiFi and telephone connection.Easily coped with our mobility problems including wheelchair user.Owner Julie who lives in adjacent property very friendly and helpful.Location ideal tucked away down private drive but within minutes of main trunk roads.We'll be returning next year!!!

from the moment we arrived it was peace and tranquility, Julie met us and was very friendly and helpful. the cottage has everything you need very clean not cluttered perfect decoration very calming. bed is very comfy and the bathroom is perfect. Walks start from the front door no need to get the car out, very central for all the local towns. if you want a very restful holiday or a romantic one this is the place to go. a little gem and well cared for.
